A Friend in Nightmares

Chapter 1

After waking up from what she thought was a nightmare she took a few breathers before getting ready for the day after getting ready for the day she went to do school work but due to not being able to stop thinking about her dream she couldn't. After a few hours she noticed the time and her mom soon told her to got to bed of course she was nervous to but she also remembered it's a dream they naturally don't reapet..........most of the time getting ready for bed and laying down Megan gose to bed and soon wakes up she seems to be in a grass field she stands up and starts to walk through the field she soon hears some one yell "Tackle!" She turns around, but it's too late. She suddenly jumped on by Macey, and the soon start to roll down a hill, clinging onto each other for dear life once they reached the bottom, both girls started laughing. Rain had never felt so alive after a few minutes of them laughing. Rain looked sown at maceys hand that happened to be intertwined with hers. She looked up at Macey, looking at the smile on her face it for some reason, brought rain comfort. Macey and rain soon made eye contact, and it lasted at least a few minutes before all of a sudden the two girls hugged for once Rain was happy and didn't have a care in the world all of a sudden Macey picked her up with out warning "Come let's go meet the others!" Macey seemed very excited and then took off with Rain in her arms. Rain took the time to notice how fast Macey was the same with strength. Rain was glade she didn't run the first time they met, she would've had no chance. After a while, they seemed to stop at a forest entrance. Macey put Rain down before standing in front of her "Okay now I haven't mentioned you to the others yet, but I have a feeling they'll love you" Macey then began to walk into the forest Rain right behind her. Soon enough, the two girls made it to a village like area. There were at least twenty people there, but they all scattered when they noticed Rain and Macey. But only one stayed he looked to be half dog half human he was wearing a  dress with fishnets. Honestly, he pulled it off real well. "Macey, who's the new girl?" Sudden he talked he had a sorta medium pitch voice with a little bit of edge but not to scary. Macey then grabbed Rains hand, pulling Rain forward to the person who stayed. "Let me introduce you too. Rain, this is ruffles. Ruffles, this is rain." Macey was surprisingly happy to introduce them to each other. Ruffles seemed to ease a bit after interdictions. Rain looked over at Macey who was looking at something in the bushes she then ran and tackled it soon realizing there was a hill there Macey and whoever she tackled rolled down the hill giggling like how Rain and Macey did earlier. Rain and Ruffles were now alone together it was very awkward but out of Rain stupidity she tried to get a conversation started "you like Jazz" Rain didn't realize what she said after she said and looking back on it it might of been the stupidity way to start a conversation but it surprisingly worked "nah I'm more of a punk kind of person" Ruffles look at Rain with a small smile before looking away. Rain and ruffles soon started talking about each of  there interests and learning more about eachother before it stopped and Megan....woke back up.
