My conversation with Alissa lasts roughly two hours.
Apologizing for the things I said in regards to her and Lauren was the first of many apologies on my list. Filling her in on my situation with Eiza and Elisha resulted in her asking numerous questions about what I plan to do.
"I never intended on my situation with Elisha to involve feelings but I'm unsure if hers are a factor." I explain, thinking the situation through.
"Yeah, she doesn't seem like the friends with benefits type." Alissa adds. "I'm surprised you two have been able to do that."
I close my eyes at her response. "You're the third person to say that about her."
"Who were the others?"
"Hailee and Eiza." I answer.
Alissa laughs. "Well, they're bias because they're in love with you. I'm saying it because it's true. That girl has to have her feelings involved, as we speak."
I lean back on my couch and cover my eyes with my left hand as I hold my phone to my ear.
"I'll talk to her about it."
"Yeah, that's probably for the best." She agrees.
The conversation shifts to Alissa's potential job opportunity at the studio. Both her and Kai have been working with artists they never thought they'd have the chance to — Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and Camila Cabello. The mention of Camila's name reminds me of Hailee and I's trip to Spain less than six months ago.
How excited she was to get off stage and run to me. Finally being able to kiss her in her dressing room — of course, Camila was a witness to that. It feels like yesterday but also, forever ago.

I wake the next day and decide to scroll through my phone before getting ready for work. Opening Instagram, I like a picture of Alissa and the memory of Hailee's words flood my mind.
"I think you should let people back in, [Y/N]. Your family and your friends miss you... I know it because I do."
I exit Instagram and open my text thread with Alissa.
— hey, do you think you could set up a day for the group to get together? i have bridges to mend..
Within seconds, I receive a response.
ALISSA: Of course! Just let me know what day works for you and I'll figure out the rest😊
— thank you. i'll check my schedule today and get back to you!
I open Instagram again and continue to scroll. The next picture I come across is Hailee's.
