Chapter 3

Oji observed Tsuji as he squirmed in his seat as he read the special assignment. Everyone else except for Ikoma (who was doing god knows what) were reading the special assignment.

"Do you know a Neighbour in Border, Tsuji-chan?" Oji smiled at Tsuji, who was sweating bullets, making it very obvious.

"How?" Tsuji mumbled.

"It was obvious, since you used to be A-Rank," Oji grinned steelily and Tsuji got up from his chair.

"Well bye then," Ikoma waved at Tsuji, "Say hi to Chika-chan for me."

Tsuji narrowed his eyes, "No," and walked off towards the operator's room.

Oji watched as Tsuji closed the door and turned to his remaining teammates, "I want your input, who do you think is the Neighbour?"

"Me." Ikoma said, staring at a corner as if there were a camera there.

"Believable, but no," Nire stated.

"Who else do we think could be the Neighbour?" Oji asked.

"Someone from Tamakoma?" Obishima said.

"There are probably some in Tamakoma Obi-nyan, but I also want to concentrate in HQ and the other branches. We can start there for now."

"Okay Oji-senpai," Obishima agreed.

"I'm thinking of Reiji," Nire absentmindedly said.

"Why is that Harunire?" Oji questioned further, "Give me your reasons as to why you think Reiji is the neighbour."

"Well, he insists on being jacked, as if that's a requirement for being stronger. Well ya know, it is, but it doesn't count in a trion body ya know?"

"I see where you're going, but I know he just likes being fit. Try again," Oji dismissed Nire's claim.

"I know, I know, I know," Ikoma beamed, as much as he could with his deadpan face, "It's Yotaro!!"

Everyone was astonished and started staring at Ikoma in amazement, how could it be Director Rindo's son? Meanwhile Oji started to think it through.

"No, I think he's onto something," Everyone turned to stare at Oji.

"How?" Nire questioned.

"Why is he always wandering around HQ? And by himself sometimes?" Oji questioned, "He knows a lot about Tamakoma and Border, and we don't know who his mother is."

Obishima raised her eyebrows and spoke up, "You don't ask those types of questions, that's humiliating. What if she died? You never know."

"Fine, it's not Yotaro, who else is it then?" Nire debated.

"Let me think it over, let's not excuse Yotaro just yet" Oji said.

The squad stayed silent as Oji held his chin in his hands and pondered over who the Neighbour could be. 'Who could it be? Azuma-san is a bit of an obvious choice, but still viable. Could also be Ninomiya, but he doesn't get along with Tamakoma. Amatriciana is also a good alternative, but she just got over not being able to shoot people and Neighbours would be able to shoot with no hesitation. But hm, I know who could be a neighbour.'

Oji smirked as he spoke up, "I know who could be the Neighbour."

"Who Oji-senpai?" Obishima's eyes sparkled.

Oji smiled grimly, "Hyuston, Hyuse Kronin."
