"Alright everyone, I'll grab our room keys and distribute them soon. Here is the lobby as well as the restaurant. They will give us our welcome drinks shortly so sit tight, make yourself comfortable while I fetch our keys. Toilet is that way," your tour leader pointed to his right and you could see the sign for toilet at the end of the hallway. "Tomorrow we will have our breakfast here at 8, over there." Now he pointed to his left. I craned my neck and saw rows of tables and chairs which were empty at the moment. But judging by the waiters walking back and forth, bringing stuff as they went, you guessed they were preparing for the dinner service. You looked around and some people had made themselves comfortable on the couch while the youngsters had ventured outside, playing with the snow cart. The older people took the chance to go to the toilet before it got crowded.

You joined the other youngsters playing with the snow cart for a while before the cold wind froze your face. Your cousin rode the cart so fast that the wind blew on your face strongly. And hell, it was cold. So cold that you could barely feel your cheeks and you were sure your nose was red and you guessed there was snow on top of your eyebrows and eyelashes. You shook the snow off your head and shoulder before stepping onto the deck and headed back inside to warm yourself. You have just arrived so you tried not to be a snowgirl yet.

"Okay everyone," your tour leader gathered everyone in the lobby once again. "This is the map of the resort. Our igloos will be on our left after we get out of this lobby. There is no shower in the igloos so if you want to take a shower, you can go to the spa which is in that building over there," he pointed to a wooden house parallel to the hotel lobby, just a couple meters away. But a bit higher than the lobby.

"The igloos are numbered. Ours are from number 1 to number 14. Since the igloo is see-through, please walk around with caution so as not to disturb other guests."

A few gasps were heard as the last information sunk in. Your eyes widened as well. "What does he mean by 'it's see-through'?" You turned to your friend who would be sharing the igloo with you. She was about to answer you when the tour leader raised his voice again.

"There's a curtain on the lower half of the igloo, so no one from the outside could see you if you changed your clothes or while you're sleeping as long as you duck yourself below the curtain. But if you leave your curtain open or you take off your clothes while standing up on the bed, then there's a good chance that someone might be able to see from the outside," he explained and you were still not convinced. How come you didn't know about this before you booked this tour? You knew why. You were too excited to sleep in an igloo without getting more information about it. Of course, you shouldn't have trusted the pictures on social media because they only showed the good sides.

But it was too late to change accommodation. You just had to be careful now when you were inside the igloo. Soon the tour leader started to distribute the keys and you grabbed your luggage, mounted them to the snow cart and dragged the cart to your igloo. You were lucky. You got the last igloo in the rows so yours was a bit away from the other. You noticed the igloo on the row in front of yours was a bit on the left and the one on the row behind yours was dark so you were a bit safe. Unless they walked around your igloo, they couldn't see the inside of your igloo.

"It's a bit... cramped," you commented once you stepped inside the igloo.

"Yep. I feel cheated. This resort is expensive. I think this is the most expensive accommodation throughout our tour," your friend added.

"Oh well, let's go to the spa. Then, we need to take a lot of pictures when the lights are on. It'll be prettier when the lights are on," you hurriedly gathered your toiletries and a set of fresh clothes before hurrying your friend to follow you. Luckily the spa was stranded since most people in the group opted to take a rest before dinner. And you were right. It was pretty when the lights were lit up. You took a lot of pictures to post later as the compensation for the expensive price that you had to pay.
