We often hear the phrase, "You don't know what you have until it's gone." That's right... we tend to take things for granted... and only truly see how much they mean to us when we're close to losing them. And this phrase in particular... fits quite well with situations regarding life and love.
"Miss Becky... the doctor will see you now. Please proceed to the examination room.,, - the nurse said

POV: Freen
Clang
I bought me a coffee for more energy. I was lost in my thoughts till someone said something, what shaped me out of my thoughts.
"Aside from your feelings of responsibility and your duty as a doctor... you feel absolutely no empathy for the families of your patients, do... you...?,, - she said
It looks like she is a patient here in the hospital. But what does she mean?
"Wh... I... I'm sorry? Do we... know each other...?,, - I asked her confused
"Oh no, not at all.,, - she said with a smile
What? What's with her? And why do she smile like that, so bright?
"I hope I'm not disturbing you too much... um... Doctor... Chankimha. Hahaha... I'm sorry. It's just that I'm nearsighted and I forgot my glasses today.,, - she said with a big smile on her face
Hmm.... what a peculiar character...
I couldn't really listen to what she is saying because I was too captivated in her looks and smile. She has pale skin with big brown eyes and brown hair. She looks like a doll. So beautiful.
"Oh, uh... excuse me. What was it you were saying just now? I wasn't really listening...,, - I said, flustered
"My name is Becky. I've been meaning to ask you, when you-,, - she said But then my phone biped

"Uh... please excuse me. I have an urgent case I must attend to.,, - I said in a hurry
"Oh... 'kay... bye then... Ahah... I should've seen that coming... these doctors are all the same.,, - she said while I was walking away. But I heard her clearly.

Oh, Dr. Billy is now with me.
"Oh, Dr. Chankimha. Your shifts is not over yet?,, - he asked me
"Haha... not for a while, I'm afraid.,, - I said
I'm interested in which case he has. Oh, the radiography looks interesting.
"You've got quite the interesting case on your hands.,, - I said
"It's a case that was just transferred over to me. The patient is so young, though...,, - he said
"I'm assuming they've this since birth?,, - I asked him
I don't know how it feels like to live with a heart disease like this. It must be pretty hard.
"Yes... but she seems to be taking very good care of herself.,, - he said
"Would it be a bit much if I asked to see her history?,, - I said with a smile
"Ah... oh! Not... not at all! A second opinion from you would be great, actually.,, - he said, blushing
He gave me the history of the patient. As I looked who it was, I was shocked. It's that girl from the hallway...
"She... looks surprisingly healthy for someone with this kind of condition. It's somewhat hard for me to believe she is suffering from a heart disease. What a shame... someone so young should be able to go out and enjoy life to the fullest. Though... she might have a chance at a normal if she receives a heart transplant.,, - I said
"Her name is already on the waiting list, but... she isn't considered a high-priority case... plus, finding a compatible donor for her is going to be hard.,, - Dr. Billy said
Unbelievable. Her personality is so cheerful and bubbly. Is this the attitude... the demeanour... of someone who knows full well... that they're creeping closer and closer... to death every moment?
