The next day, Kathryn was getting ready for her speaking engagement. She was pretty nervous. This was the first she really gone out in public after the switch. She plops on her bed and grabs the covers and buries herself in them. 

"Honey, what are you doing? I have to drive you to the airport." John tells her.

"I'm scared..".

"What do you mean you're scared? Kathryn, you can do this. You are the bravest person I know. Just be strong, and go through." John gives her advice. 

She pulls the covers off of her head. She's already dressed.

"Okay." She looks at him.

"Thatta girl." He kisses her cheek. 

They walk downstairs. Bay, Daphne, Toby, and Regina are here to say good-bye. Kathryn gives each of them a hug. 

"You ready?" John asks. Kathryn nods.

"Have a safe flight!" Regina calls.

They enter the Porsche. 

"I'm only going to be gone for a couple of days, so I need you to please take care of the house. Do not let Bay say she is going to Simone's house, because she isn't." Kathryn tells him.

"Kathryn you act like I don't live in the house. Don't worry everything will be okay." He assures her.

"Oh alright." Kathryn replies. 

They arrive at the airport. They get out. John grabs her luggage. He sets it down. 

"Hey, you're gonna do amazing. Okay? I arranged for you to take a rental car to drive back home. I'm sorry I can't pick you up. Have a safe flight. I love you." John grabs her waist and brings her closer. They go in for a long kiss. 

"I love you too." Kathryn smiles and walks into the airport. John goes back into his car and drives away. 

Kathryn immediately starts crying. She feels guilty and horrible for everything she's done. Little did John know, Kathryn was still flying to her speaking arrangement in Chicago, but she was meeting Chip Coto for a bill she was supposed to have him sign. She didn't tell John, because she didn't want him to worry. He just had to sign something and that was it. Business. That was it.
