She felt needles stabbing her body, "I'm surprised you agreed to marry his sorry butt" Sol said while admiring her beautiful wedding dress.
"I didn't agree to anything, I was just whisked into one of their cars and told I was to get married to him."
Sol snorted, "I'm sure your ride in their expensive car wasn't fun." Katlin smiled remembering she took some sweets on her way that she shared with Sol when she came back. She felt one of her sewer maids pinch a needle in her waist, she gave out a low squeal. "You look, bored, in that dress you know" Sol pointed at her dress, twirling her red wine hair. Katlin bowed her head to the side to reveal her long white wedding dress, which was indeed, boring. "I know, but this was the only one that I preferred." A lie that she very well couldn't hide from her best friend, but she tried. "I don't think you preferred this one, I think you don't really care." That was the truth, she couldn't care less what kind of bow she wanted or if she wanted Swiss coffee white or dove white. This wedding meant nothing to her, not the man either. She had no love for these people who would intend to watch their ceremony, so she supposed it didn't matter if she looked dull.
Sol saw the sadness visible in her eyes as she said in a motherly voice, "just, don't do anything you know you will regret" as if Katlin could read her friends silent words, "I don't know Sol, I have no intension to live if I will do it miserably." There, the actual most truth, she tasted her words as they slipped out of her mouth, they sounded so true, so naked. Sol looked at her as if lost for words, and then said, "we shall savor this little time we have left then" and lifted her glass of wine as a cheer. Katlin couldn't stop the smile that curved on her lips and lifted her glass of wine in return.
...
"What do you have in mind then?" Katlin asked while sipping her glass of wine, her sewers maid didn't want her to drink wine in her new wedding dress, so she was told to take it off and rather try it on later, "I was thinking a bar, with guys, with alcohol" she had to stop Sol mid-sentence. "I'm getting married to a guy in a week, I can't go around and get laid" Sol gave her a wicked smile as she said low, "if you don't have sex with anyone before you get married you will either have to cheat or have sex with Leon." She cringed, picturing herself in the bed with Leon, no. Sol was right, her beautiful face and body with her hair the color of red wine was indeed right. she had to get laid soon or else she will start to get desperate and try herself on Leon.
Sol sipped her glass of wine with crossed legs, satisfied that she convinced her to join at her many night clubs in town. Katlyn rolled her eyes in annoyance, but she was kind of glad Sol had pushed her, Maby it will take years before she possibly could have sex with anyone. "You know you're a brat, right?" Sol snorted, "bitch, I've been raised by brats."
They both started to giggle at their memories from when they would hide in the gardens because that's the only place their mothers would not go into. For not to get any dirt on their pretty dresses. Their giggles and laughter began fading when they realized that it would be a memory, and nothing else. She turned her distraction toward the dull white dress hanging from the doorknob. The dress was long, it had white flowers around the waistline and glitter upwards the breast, she didn't want to get married in a white dress that meant of happiness when that day would be nothing else but misery. Sol turned her stare towards her with a smile that told her, she had a badass plan. And as if Sol could read her mind too, she said, "But what if you could get another dress" and they both looked at each other, grinning, and began planning.
...
She nipped at her martini, focusing on the loud music, Sol tried to talk to Katlin but was overshadowed by the music. Sol asked the bartender, making sure her breasts were very visible, to lower the music. He did, but he didn't look at her eyes or her face, no, further down. He licked his lips, she was disgusted by this man, he was probably in his 20s but acted like a fifteen-year-old who never even had sex.
