You were backstage at a Raw,getting ready and warming up when you noticed Jey Uso approaching you. He flashed you a charming smile and approached you, "What's up Y/N, How's it going?"You couldn't help but smile back at him. Jey was always a friendly and fun guy to be around you had talked to him a few times but never really hung out.
"Hey, Jey. I'm good, thanks. How about you?"Jey's smile widened as you replied, "I'm great now that I get to see your beautiful face." He winked at you, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
You couldn't help but chuckle at Jey's cheesy attempt at flirting. It was endearing in its clumsiness. every time you two were in the same area, he never failed to say something flirty.
"Smooth, Jey. Real smooth," you teased. Jey laughed, running a hand through his hair sheepishly. "Hey, I'm just trying to impress you. I've been practicing my lines all day."You laughed again, shaking your head fondly. "Well, you definitely made an impression, that's for sure."Jey grinned at you, his dimples deepening. "So, Y/N, how about we grab dinner after the show? I know this great place nearby that serves the best ribs. They gon' have you feelin real Ucey."
You couldn't help but smile at Jey's sincerity. "I'd love that, Jey. Sounds like a plan."
As you headed off to get ready for your match, you couldn't help but feel a warm flutter in your chest. Jey's clumsy attempts at flirting may not have been the smoothest, but they were certainly heartfelt and genuine, but it was something that made him so unique which made you admire him even more.
