Both Free and Y/n said as they pulled the strings to their launchers; their Beys, Drain Fanfir, and Variares bounced onto the stadium floor. Fafnir and Variares were both left-spinning beys, so they chased each other in the same direction. Quickly, Fafnir took over the stadium's center while Variares circled it. During the battles that Free went against other bladers like Valt, he noticed that Drain Fafnir stole spin power with three specific contact points that were made of rubber; however, it wouldn't matter because Variares spun in the exact directions. So Y/n was going with an all-out attack to wither down Fafnir's stamina.
"Go now, Variares!" Y/n roared as his bey rushed towards Drain Fafnir. The two beys clashed head-on in the middle of the stadium, and Drain Fafnir was sent flying out of the stadium. It then began to circle the stadium in the same direction as Variares, gradually heading towards the middle a little bit over time.
"..." Free let out as he continued to stare down at the battle, as Fafnir was heading towards the middle it was going to make contact with Variares once more as both beys sped up and were both quickly rushing towards the center to clash head-on.
BOOM
A shockwave erupted from the stadium as the audience watched in awe. "Dang, Y/n is putting up a fight against Free!" Kit said, surprised that Y/n lasted as long as he did against Free. "Calm down, it's only been 25 seconds. This should have been expected from the top bladers in the world," Trad said to Kit as he continued to observe, attempting to see if Y/n was truly worth scouting.
"Let's go, Variares!" Y/n said as Variares seemingly gained a burst of speed, circling the entire stadium before heading straight towards Fafnir. Free, unimpressed, he raised his hand. "This fight is over. Fafnir, use Nothing break!" Variares ran into Fafnir and was blown into the air. "Ah, Variares!" Y/n panicked for his partner. "Well, it was fun while it lasted," Free stated casually. "Hahahaha, that's a good joke, pal! Having a battle like this is such super fun, so thanks!" Y/n said as Free looked confused. "You may be the number one ranked blader, but I am the King! Burning bright red and blowing everyone away!"
