Football Game (chap 1)

TAYLOR'S POV :

I'm currently in the suite of the stadium, with the Kelce family, as we are watching Travis play. Travis and I are so much in love, he is there for me and I'm there for him. He is always so protective of me and I think I like that. This relationship is so different that the previous ones, it is so pure, and I think I've never been in love like that with a person. This time I think Travis is the one I'll spend the rest of my life with.

Kylie interrupts me in my train of thoughts "Do you want something to drink Tay ?" I reply "Yeah thanks I will have some water please." She hands me a bottle of water and asks me "What were you thinking about ?" I answer smiling "About Travis, the love of my life." I giggle shyly and Kylie says "Damn I can see that you too are sooo in love. I'm so glad you guys find each other, you make Travis so happy, like the happiest I have ever seen. And also Taylor you are a wonderful person and I will be forever grateful for being apart of this family." I smile widely at her words "Awww Kylie this is so adorable, I'm so happy to be apart of this family, you guys are the sweetest people and I'm so thankful for that." We hug each other and we continue to watch the game.

Half an hour later, I start to feel weird, this is kind of an unknown feeling, like I have never felt like that before, I don't even know how to describe it. I feel like something is going to happen, I begin to panic, and stand up quickly. Kylie asks "Hey, you're okay ?" I feel the urge to go find Travis so I tell her "I don't know, I need to talk to Travis." Kylie says "But he is playing, you can't see him now." Tears start to form into my eyes and I say "I don't care, I have to, something is wrong." I'm so upset that I rapidly leave running to the field that Kylie doesn't even have time to say anything.

Once I am on the field, I run to Travis, in the middle of the game, people begin to boo at me, but I don't care. Travis is looking at me confused as I approach him. He demands a bit annoyed "Taylor what are you doing here ? Don't you see that we are still playing ?" I cry harder as I'm in front of him, I see him getting worried and I can't put myself together to explain how I feel. He asks "Tay baby what's going on ? Why are you crying ?" I stuttered "I— I— don't—" and Travis interrupts me to hug me tightly "Honey calm down, breath in and out." Once I manage to relax a bit I finally say "Something is going to happen, I feel it." He gives me a confused look and says "Babe you're freaking out, I'm sure everything will be fine." He caresses my cheek and I shake my head still crying "No please Travis, listen to me, something bad is going to happen. I need you to trust me, please." I'm so desperate right now I would do anything for him to believe me. He takes my face in his palms and says "Okay okay I trust you darling. What do we have to do ?" I reply "I don't know, I feel like we should gather people on the field." He nods and takes my hand to walk towards the crowd and take the microphone from the staff and says "Here me out, I want everyone here on the field as quickly as possible. Please be careful, and stay calm." Travis's coach come to us furiously and exclaims "What is that for Kelce !!??" Travis says "I don't have time to explain but something is going to happen, trust us we have to get people here on the field real quick." The coach doesn't have the chance to respond as we are heading to the suite to help evacuate our family. Travis takes Wyatt and Elliott in his arms while Jason takes Bennett. I take Kylie's hand in mine and we hurry outside on the field. They don't ask us anything and they just follow our instructions. I spot a little girl looking for her family from the stairs, so I quickly make my way to her and pick her up to get her down the field. Travis do the same with other helpless kids who are petrified.

Suddenly the feeling I have had since earlier starts to get worse and I yell for Travis. He comes rushing to me "Everybody is on the field now." I say "It's gonna happen real soon, I feel it." I groan as my head starts pounding heavily, I almost drop to the floor but Travis is holding me in his arms and helps me sit down. His worry is plastered on his face "Tay what's wrong ?" I answer simply "My head, it hurts." He sits down cross legged and places me on his lap. He caresses my head slightly and says "Everything will be fine I promise, I won't let anything happen to you or our family, and to all the people here." Jason and Kylie also sit on the ground with the girls, holding them tightly. I gasp and exclaim "Travis !!" and then we hear a loud noise. The stadium is falling apart, the seats where the audience was supposed to be is crumbling down. I put my hands on my ears, as I hear people screaming in fear. After everything crumbled down, I open my eyes and look at Travis with a scary look. He whispers in shook "Tay you saved us. How did you even— how did you know— what — omg ?" I reply sincerely "I don't know Trav, I just— I can't— omg I was so scared." I sob again against his chest and he hold me close. Travis asks his family "Are you guys okay ?" Jason answers "Yeah just a bit shaken up, but we will be fine." The girls are crying because they are freaking out, which is totally understandable. We get closer to them and we hug together in order to calm everyone down.

After a few minutes we all get up, as police officers and fire fighters are evacuating us. Security is surrounding our family as we head out of the stadium. We are all in the same car as we are going to Jason and Kylie's house, that's where we had been staying for the last few days. When we got here it was time for diner but I am not hungry at all, if I eat something I feel like I may throw up. The girls are starting to feel better, they are watching TV and Trav and I sit down next to them to give them cuddles. I ask Wyatt who is sitting on my lap "How are you feeling sweet pea ?" She replies honestly "It was scary but now I'm good because we are home." I am reassured by her words and I stroke her hair gently. Then Jason and Kylie call us for diner, and we bring the girls to the table. The girls are sitting on their respective chairs while Trav and I are still standing. I look at him in the eyes and he read through me. What I love about Travis is that he always manage to know how I feel or what I need. He demands "You don't want to eat, do you ?" I answer "Yeah I don't feel like it, I am just so tired I could sleep right now." He kisses my forehead and says to his brother and sister in law "Guys I think Tay and I are going to go to our bedroom. Tay isn't feeling great right now, I think she better gets some sleep." Kylie says sympathetically "Don't worry it's totally fine, regarding the events of the day." Jason says "Do you want to bring food upstairs in case you're hungry ?" Travis replies "Yeah that would be good, thanks bro." Travis take the food and I say "I'm sorry guys." Kylie quickly answer "Don't be silly Taylor, you have no reason to be sorry. Get yourself some sleep, you need it honey." I smile slightly at her and we say goodnight to the girls, then we head to our bedroom.

Once in the bedroom, I literally fall on the bed with a sigh, and say "I'm so drained, I don't even have the energy to change my clothes." Travis sit on the bed next to me, as I'm laying on my stomach he rubs my back gently. He places a kiss on my shoulder and says "Tay come on baby, I will help you change." I groan because I'm so tired but manage to turn my body, I extend my arms up for Travis to help me. He even picks me up and I hold onto him like a baby koala. He sets me on the bathroom counter, he wipes my makeup off and brushes my hair softly. Next he undresses me and gets me into my PJ's. He asks "Do you want to use the toilets ?" I nod and he places me there and leave to give me privacy but before he could do anything a grab his arm. I say "Trav can you stay here, I'm scared I'm going to fall asleep in here and fall out of the toilet." He chuckles a bit and he says "Sure no problem darling, I'm here for you, always." I respond "Don't laugh at me, I really feel awful, I'm so weak I might pass out." He says "I'm sorry you feel like that, what you went through today was really weird and I know it bother you as much as me because we don't know how all of that happened." Now that I'm done I stand up to put my sweatpants back on but I stumble a bit. Travis exclaims "Wow sweetie take it easy, hold on I'm gonna carry you. Damn you sure be exhausted if you can't even walk." I wrap my arms around his neck and sigh tiredly. He gets me to bed and we both cuddle up under the cover. Travis pulls me closer to him, I put my head on his bare chest and he puts his arms around me protectively. I look up at Travis and he strikes my cheek and we kiss. Travis says "Goodnight sweetheart, if you need anything during the night just wake me up, I'm here for you Tay, okay ?" I reply "Thanks Trav, I love you so much, good night." He says "I love you more baby, have beautiful dreams darling."
