   “So how are we going to find these fairies anyway?”

  
   “They're nymphs, and your sister is talking with Chiron now.”

   “Fairies, nymphs, same thing.” Silena looked at me with a hint of something evil. Oh gods, if looks could kill. Before I could become subject to her wrath, a familiar face made his way over to me.

   “So you were just going to leave without saying goodbye?” Simon placed his hand over his heart in mock sadness.

   “Yeah yeah, come here.” I pulled him into a side hug before the fake tears could come.

   “Have you at least said goodbye to your girlfriend?” A mischievous look settled on to his face.
“Rowan is not my girlfriend.”

   “How'd you know that I was talking about her?” Oh.

   A sigh of defeat left my mouth. “Whatever, go away.”

   “Fine fine, but be safe.” And with that he made his way over to the dining pavilion.

                   AMARA STIRLING

   California? I can not believe that we have to travel that far.

   After talking with Chiron I made my way to the statue of Zues where I saw my older brother waiting.

   “Where's Silena, didn't you tell her that we were meeting here?”

   “I'm not sure, she slipped away while I was talking to Simon-” He cut himself off. “Oh, she's right over there.”

   I looked in the direction he pointed towards to see Silena talking with Luke Castellan, head counselor of the Hermes cabin.

   I shouted her name to get her attention. “Hey, we're about to leave.” She jumped as if she had seen a ghost and quickly put something in her pocket before making her way over to us. Hmm, wonder what that was about.

   Dimitri glanced at me with the same look of confusion that painted my own face, it vanished just as Silena spoke up.

   “So where are we heading?”

   “Santa Ana, Chiron said that the nymphs were last spotted in that area.”

   “Wait, California?” A flash of excitement flashed through my brothers eyes.

“Yes, Chiron gave us three train tickets along with 200 dollars and 200 golden drachmas,” After neither responded I continued, “the train will take is to Illinois, but after that we're on our own.

   “Well, then, we better get going.”
