Backstory: Kenji Serizawa's life echoed that of his friend Ryan Tennyson in many ways. A former believer in the hero system, Kenji's world crumbled when those he admired turned out to be corrupt. Stripped of his naivety but not his courage, Kenji was reborn as Ultraseven 21 after a fateful encounter with an ancient Ultra relic. With a renewed sense of justice and the power of Ultraseven at his command, Kenji joined the Peregrine Falcon Squad alongside Ryan, determined to right the wrongs inflicted by false heroes.
