Chapter 5

Azarea's POV

I glanced at the girl who was unconscious in the arms of Shin. Even Shin doesn't know how to deal with the woman in his arms.

“My Lady, what do you want to do with this woman?” Shin hesitantly says while looking at me. He was very embarrassed because he was the one who brought the girl yet he was the one who was asking for help to the person who helped him a while ago.

Really embarrassing! He was the one who insisted in helping this young woman. But at the same time if ever he didn't help her and leaves her alone. Then his conscious would hunt him down.

He looked at his Lady in front of him. She was wearing her mask and cape that's why he can't quite see her expression. He could only see her eyes that was cold and emotionless as if saying that it's not her business.

He was fridging because he didn't know what to say in order to convince his Lady to help her.

“My Lady can–”

“Follow me.” Shin could only silently follow his Lady. Once again his Lady booked a room in the nearest inn that they saw while strolling a while ago.

When they are inside the room, Shin laid the woman in the bed. Azarea then used her power to transfer some of her strength to the woman who was unconscious.

After it she brought out some pills and let Shin help the woman swallowed the pill.

One thing that Shin noticed about his Lady is that she doesn't want to be touched by someone.

After five minutes of waiting the woman slowly opened her eyes. She suddenly rise to her bed, she was in high alert and was looking at her surroundings cautiously. Her gaze soon fall to the two person who was in the corner of the room.

The woman then examined her body frantically as if looking for something. When she saw that her  things was still intact in her pouch she let out a relieved sigh.

Her face looked calmed yet cautious at the same time.

“Who are you.” a small voice can be heard inside the quiet room.

Azarea beckoned to Shin. Shin understand it immediately.

“We saw that you are being harassed by those thugs that why we helped you. How are you? ” Shin replied to the woman on the bed.

The woman's eyes went wide. Those eyes showed gratitude and relief. When she was walking outside the guild with the information she obtained, she thought that her job was done but what surprised her was that there were assassins that was waiting for her.

Thankfully she sensed them before they could attacked her. She run in the corridor hoping to find a hiding place. But she underestimate the people of black market.

Once she stepped into the dark corridor, she come across with the group of thugs. Even if she was strong enough. It cannot beat those who lived on the black market wherein violence and crime often happens.

She fought them but soon realized that they were just playing with her. When she was exhausted to death. Those thugs soon got bored, but when they saw that the woman was a beauty and looked like a noble they begun to have inhumane thoughts.

The man who was in the front and seems to be the leader ordered his companions to hold her still. She cannot do anything against it because of exhaustion.

When the man started to come forward she scream on top of her lungs hoping to get some help.

“There's no one who would help you here even if you scream.” the man said lucidly while looking at the woman with a smirk.
