Chapter 4

~Edward's POV~

  

  Tanya is still trying to get me to love her but she doesn't understand that I don't want her like that. Now she's trying to corner me but somehow I was walking backwards out of the house. I felt someone jump on my back so we went tumbling into the snow. I looked and saw it was Bella. She was covered in snow but so was I and we laughed. A few minutes later Bella got hit by a snowball that knocked her down. I looked over at Tanya because I knew it was her that threw it. I looked back at Bella and saw she was looking in Tanya's direction holding a snowball. Oh no! 

That bitch is all over MY Edward.-Tanya

 She will pay for that.-Bella 

Here we go!-EmmettOh no!-Carlisle, Esme, Carmen, Elezar, Kate, Irina, Alice, Jasper. 

Tanya is going to regret that.-Rosalie. 

Wait, Rosalie? As soon as Bella's snowball hit Tanya she lunged at Bella. They tumbled in the snow until Bella had her pinned.

 "You would be wise not to mess with me." I heard Bella say. After that Tanya ran off. She turned towards us and asked if she was good. She wasn't good, she was perfect. Now I know this was my Bella that I left. I can't believe I ever left her to live a normal life. How could she when she was a danger magnet? 

"Bella you did extrodinary." I told her. She then tried to jump on my back again but I expected it. She pouted since she couldn't catch me off guard like before. I laughed at her expression then brought her around to face me. I leaned in and she met me halfway. Her lips were soft and warm, like it always was before. She was then yanked off me by Tanya.

 "You stay away from him freak!" She wants to control my life all the time! "I can't believe you would stoup so low as to kiss someone else's mate!" I gasped at the same time as Bella. I reached out to read Bella's mind but she put up her shield. Blood tears were running down her cheeks as she had a far away look in her eyes. She actually thought Tanya was my true mate? Bella then crumpled to the ground and stayed there until sunrise. When the sun came up she screamed and wouldn't stop.

 --Time Skip--

 It has been three days since Bella went unconscious. One day after she was out she stopped screaming. About one hour ago I heard a heartbeat. Not just any heartbeat but Bella's heartbeat. How was that possible? I needed to talk to Carlisle about this when he got back from his hunt. A few minutes later I heard his thoughts and he was wondering the same thing as I am. I ran to the front door to wait for him. When he came in I had to talk to him in private.

 Do you want to talk in the study?-Carlisle. I nodded. I closed the door and asked:

 "Do you know what's happening?" 

"I have seen this only once before." Carlisle said. "What triggered it I don't have any clue but she is turning back into a human." I was shocked. My sweet Bella was becoming human again.

 "What happens in the process of turning back human?" I had to know.Carlisle sighed like he didn't want to tell me. I tried to search his mind but he blocked it."Carlisle," I asked, "please tell me. I need to know."

 "The process of becoming a vampire is reversed. It starts from day three to the start of the first day of the transformation." I can't believe she has to endure the transformation process again.

 "Who was the person that you saw go through this?" I asked. Now I was curious. 

"Marcus." he said. "When Didyme died he was so heartbroken that I guess that is what triggered his. The same thing might have happened to Bella." I could understand that. I looked out the window and saw the sunrise. I heard Bella's heart accelerate so I went up to see what happened. She looked so fragile again. But that wasn't what caught my attention, there were scars up and down her arms. She was so startled that she fell off the table. I caught her before she could hit the floor. Bella opened her eyes and locked them with mine. 

"W-who are you?" She asked. Who am I? She didn't remember? 

"Don't you remember?" I asked her. She shook her head no. I looked around at my family around the room. They looked shocked except Alice."Carlisle," I asked, "did this happen before?" He nodded yes. My poor Bella.

 "Can I see Bella, Edward?" Alice asked. I nodded but turned to Bella to see if she wanted to.

 "Can Alice talk to you?" She looked confused. "I'm sorry," I pointed to the person the name I said belonged to, "That is Alice, Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Irina, Kate, Tanya, Carmen, Elezar, and I'm Edward." She nodded her head. 

"I would love to talk to Alice." Bella said.

"Okay." I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to talk to her.
