choso feels no malice towards the people you choose to hang out with. he's mature enough to understand that some relationships are purely platonic.
however, he has a limit.
if this person is making you smile more than he does, or occupies your thoughts more than he does, it'll start to bother him. friends or not, he can't help but feel threatened, insecure even.
for your sake, he wouldn't resort to violence. he only threatens them— politely, if possible. the last thing he wants is for you to get upset with him for provoking a fight. unnecessary drama is something he'd like to avoid, and hurting your meddlesome friend would surely bring it about.
so, he makes his status with you known and leaves it at that honestly.
unlike most, choso isn't too prideful to admit how he feels. he would much rather confess that he's jealous than let his insecurities build, which is very fortunate for you. sometimes it's hard to figure out what he's thinking with how indifferent his face remains.

very, but not in a controlling way. think of his possessiveness in a nurturing sense. he's just protective and clingy more than anything else.
as much as choso believes you'll be safer when by his side, he wont force you to stay with him every second of the day.
you aren't stripped of your freedom by any means. the only thing he'd want to know is your location. he can be a bit of a worrywart, especially if you're a normal civilian.

yes! choso may give off the impression that he's unaffected by your presence but that's far from the truth. internally, he's experiencing a surge of different emotions. there's a warmth that blossoms throughout his entire body whenever you're in close proximity.
the feeling is unfamiliar, yet welcoming. he doesn't even try to suppress the rush of excitement he gets at the mention of your name.
his body language might be closed off and stiff but choso is completely smitten and it shows.
