As everyone settled down on their seats, Icarus pulls out a small notepad, making last minute preparations for the first viewing of the fated future. After making one last check, Icarus made the notepad disappear and dusted off his hands clean. He then noticed March raising her hand, wanting to ask a question.
"Yes, Miss March?"Icarus asked with a small smile. Seeing that she caught her attention, March's face flustered and tapped her fingers together with a small yet nervous smile.
"Um, Mr. Icarus -"
"Please, call me Icarus. We're all friends here, after all."Icarus said, looking around the theater with a small smile before faltering, remembering that they're still stuck in the same room as the Fatui and the Stellaron Hunters. He muttered to himself," For the most part..."
"A-Anyway, Icarus - can we ask what would be the first viewing?"March asked with a small, unsure frown - not knowing what to expect, considering that the future is a mystery, there are countless possibilities as how the future could potentially play out.
"I'm glad you asked,"Icarus said, before clapping his hands, the echo surprising everyone in the room," As for what furure we're gonna watch first, it would be the future of the Nation of Justice."
The residents of Fontaine immediately perked up upon the mention of their home nation. Remembering what they'll be seeing are glimpses of the future, some of them have a look of uncertainty on their faces, knowing that the Prophecy has yet to occur and it may happen any time now.
But no one was more nervous than Furina herself. Unbeknownst to her, she began to shake on her seat as sweat began to drip from her head, wondering to herself if she indeed managed to prevent the Prophecy from happening... But a part of her was terrified at the prospect that she may have failed the Nation of Justice...
"Our future...?"Navia asked, sounding concerned as the Prophecy is yet to come.
"That sounds... Ominous..."Clorinde added, her arms crossed but deep down, she was very much worried about the future of her homeland.
"Oh, and, uh, I need to remind, what you're about to watch is a sort of teaser,"Icarus said with a small shrug, before explaining further," In other words, you'll get only glimpses of what's to come. So I suggest you pay attention."
Arlecchino could only watch, cross-legged as her head looked up at the wide screen as the screen came to life. She was curious as to see how this game would play out.
[The scene begins in a rainy day, the filter being black and white as Tom Rhodes' "Don't Fear the Reaper" can be heard faintly playing in the background]
Lyney:I'm not sure exactly how it began... But a prophecy has been circulating Fontaine...
Lyney was surprised to hear his voice onscreen and couldn't help but put on a smile on his face," Well, there's my voice. It's very unmistakable."
"Very much so, brother."Lynette added with a deadpan look, not even looking at her brother as her eyes were glued to the screen, paying attention as to what the future of Fontaine is," While you are busy admiring your voice, maybe you should pay attention. After all, this is crucial to not just our future - but the future of Fontaine as well."
Freminet, who had Pers on his lap, glancing at his siblings before looking back at the screen. Paimon then looked at the screen back and forth, wondering what this prophecy is, having never heard of it before.
"What is this so-called Prophecy?"Paimon asked, not being a native to Fontaine, she doesn't know much of Fontaine's internal affairs and such.
Kiran pulls out his journal and flips through the pages before stopping on one particular page with the words The PROPHECY of FONTAINE before pointing his finger at it. Paimon looked closer and read it with her own eyes. Aether also took a closer and look and began to read it out loud.
