Somewhere in the aquamarine kingdom, a traveler spent his night roaming around town. Away from his crew members, Alex glimpsed up to the sky as a glowing meteor flew along the black horizon that was covered in white specs. With nothing other than a few street lights and those stars to guide his way, the golden boy walked around with his head up and awake. He had let his hands find his pockets as they had been cooled from the slight breeze of the cold summer night.
All alone, Alex heard voices. Singing and laughter. A yellow, hazey light escaped through the bottom of a singular door in the alleyway. He instantly found himself attracted to the doorknob.
The gold pirate took in a cold, sharp breath, and before he opened the door, he peered up at the sign on the metal clasp next to him. It read "Welcome to Banana Pub. The Best Tavern in all of Steoqapis!".

In the saloon, an array of bartenders ran around taking orders and filling spots. It was that time of night. Out of the bunch, there were two that stuck out. One of the two was taller and wore a bold blue apron. He had a top hat on that covered his long, curlier hair and his vest was a dark brown color, a little lighter than his hair. He had a black bow tied around his off-white shirt and he spoke with a little bit of a lisp that you wouldn't catch unless you dug right through his hard, southern accent.
"Xander!! Pass me the gin, would ya?" He'd call the other bartender, now known as Xander. Xander would nod, turning around and tossing the glass bottle of alcohol around.
Xander seemed like the opposite of his counterpart. He had rather short, straighter hair that had been combed through. He wore a tie and a cleaner suit-- which was all a pretty light blue color. With dress pants and dress shoes, you could tell this guy lived in town. He spoke soft and delicate, even in a stressful situation like "rush hour".
As Alex peeked in through the door, a hidden bell announced his appearance. Through the chatter and laughter, Alex heard a banjo plucking away at its strings. Even though it was crowded and seemingly overwhelming, Alex sat down at a recently opened seat at the bar.
"Hey, Barman!" He'd wave over the table. Rushing over, came the two of them.
"Howdy there!" The first bartender greeted the golden boy. "What can I get ya?"
"Uhhh." The boy would squint at the board behind the bartender. "Get me a glass of your fanciest wine. Please." Alex would reply, setting a couple of coins down on the bar table.
Xander would nod in response, and prepare his drink while the unnamed bartender kept the pirate entertained. "Pardon me, but I don't think I've seen ya around here. What's your name partner?"
"You can call me Alex." He'd reply. "And you?"
"Why, My name's Johnathan. But my pals call me Johnny." He'd tip his hat.
Xander would slide a glass over for Alex to catch. With that, he would take consistent, small sips of his drink.
"And what brings you to this part of town, Mr. Alex?" Xander smiled, wiping a different glass over to the side.
"Well.." Alex looked up, feeling an uncertain breeze brush past him. He stared at the bright lights-- the yellow-orange orbs fading into misty greens and dark blue.

It started off like any other voyage. We took it upon ourselves to venture out into the oceanic horizon. With a map in one hand, and a spyglass in my other, we were on a mission to find greatness. Golden gems, mysterious land, adventure. All these things were everything we searched for. By 'we', I mean my shipmates and me.
