In an array of flashing lights and colors, our pirate boy found himself drifting into a different world. The spec had made a flower circle around him, sucking him into the void known as 'The Crystalite Circle'.
Alex let out a slight scream as he gazed between realites, ending up on a new patch of grassy hill. This grass seemed different. It was a teal— off-blue color.
The golden boy picked himself up off of the ground, wiping his hair to the side. He groaned once more.
"Ugh.. Where am I?" he'd ask himself, rubbing his eyes. Alex looked around and in doing so, his eyes widened.
The scene was unearthly. The trees matched the landscape underneath it; the slight breeze encouraging them to sway from side to side. The ground was covered in flowers for miles, and bright specs of yellow and pink light floated above the ground.
In the distance, Alex even noticed a small river. The water was tinted purples.
"What is this place?" The golden boy asked once more.
Alex would reach out to touch one of the trees. As the bark on the tree met with the golden boy's warm hand, it began to glow a yellow color.
Frightened by the sudden light, Alex pulled his hand away from the tree. He scraped his hand down the bark, letting out a sharp gasp.
He looked down at his hands, finding a small scratch on his palm. He looked at the scratch as it healed itself— turning from a gold color to a bright green mark that'd lay there on his skin.
Alex raised an eyebrow at the color, before noticing something odd with his clothes.
His clothes weren't his normal pirate attire anymore. Instead, he was wearing a dark, savory blue shirt, layered over a white ruffled button down. It was tucked into his neat pants, tied up by a black accented belt. And, somehow, he managed to obtain black dress shoes. An outfit like this never fit Alex's style-- let alone was in his budget. So why was he wearing it now?
A twig could be heard snapping in the distance. Someone was here!
Alex jumped up, unaware of what other secrets this forest held. He quickly searched for something to defend himself with— or at least somewhere to hide.
He looked down and beneath his feet there was an odd looking purple stick. It was long and pointy. Like a make-shift spear. It looked like someone had been here— and sharpened it.
The golden boy reached for the spear, picking it up and pointing it out towards the noise in front of him. You got this Alex. You're a brave— cunning pirate.
Slowly, Alex would walk towards the sound, carefully pulling back branches in his way. He heard a voice, talking to themselves.
It mumbled, hissing and aching like it was injured.
Alex peered over at an opening in the grassy evergreen (everteal?), and he saw what looked to be a familiar man.
He laid there in a decently sized hole that was dented into the ground. He was covered in dirt— having it in his hair, on his hands and even tainting the cracked chest plate he had that sparkled with golden laces.
Alex watched in curiosity as the man struggled.
"Stupid, Stupid, Stupid." He mumbled to himself, hitting his hand down in the dry soil. On impact, the soil cracked a few feet around him, sending out a quick flash of yellow bolts throughout his hand into the floor. "Why do you always have to put yourself in these kinds of situations.."
He lifted himself up from the ground, stumbling on his feet. He was barefoot, and his whole outfit was ruined. Shredded in pieces.
Over in the bushes, there was another problem. At eye level, Alex was greeted by a spider as it spun down a web. He gulped, staring at the spider in fear. It was covered head to toe in controlled flames.
