Getting use to the new life was actually much easier than hyunjin thought. Or maybe the people were too nice and he was becoming very comfortable around them. The omegas of the pack treated him like one of them and always included him in their talks and daily works.

"Let's go to the lake to bath today. The autumn leaves have covered the river and it's very beautiful." One of the omegas suggested earning a few nods and smiles. Hyunjin searched for Felix and he was talking to someone. The omega was a luna and he had every aspect of one. He was much more mature than any other omega here and took many responsibilities.

"Hyunjin, did you like your new house?" The familiar voice spoke and hyunjin recognized very well. It was jisung, the talkative omega he met on the first day he was here. The omega was also here, helping the other omegas. Jisung had a somewhat different vibe, he didn't busy himself with omega works, he was the adventurous type and rarely cared about safety. In other words he was recklessly challenging.

"It's comfy. I like it. " Hyunjin flashed him a genuine smile. Hyunjin was given a house too, a small hut among the houses for omegas and jisung lived there too because he was unmated too. Felix was already mated and married because the head alpha was older than him and so Felix had to marry him before he was even eighteen.

"Hey hyung, can you fix this for me." A voice interrupted them and had caught everyone's attention. A male had entered the large room where the omegas were working on sewing clothes for the winter. He carried a heavy and musky scent that could make them all submit.

"You ripped it again? Oh jeongin, be careful." Felix took the certain shawl from the boy and sat down to fix it. The younger male smiled brightly and sat beside him. He was very ignorant of the shifting atmosphere in the room. He was an alpha and naturally omegas grew conscious about themselves in presence of an alpha. But they also knew him very well so they weren't particularly uncomfortable just a little conscious now.

"That's Yang jeongin, chan hyung's half brother. He is an alpha and a very silly one too." Jisung pointed to the said alpha and jeongin noticed them and gave them a cute smile. The alpha looked very cute and innocent but his body definitely had the signs of a mature alpha.

"Hello, you must be the new member. I am yang jeongin." The male came up to them and introduced himself to hyunjin with a hearty smile. His voice was soft and gentle.

"I am Hwang Hyunjin." Hyunjin found himself smiling too. The younger male was extremely sweet and bubbly.

"That's your surname? Did you belong to the Hwang pack before?" Jisung chimed in with a question. The latter received a sharp glance from Felix who was listening to them and only then jisung realised what he had asked. He almost forgot for a moment that it was a sensitive matter.

"No, I belonged to the Jung pack." Hyunjin wasn't in any way offended by the question, he understood that they were curious and only making sure that they have the right person and not some spy from an enemy pack.

"Oh, I haven't heard about that one." Jeongin wondered for a moment before concluding that he wasn't familiar with the said pack. Hyunjin only nodded and continued the thing he was doing.

"Did something happen? Why did you leave your pack?" Jeongin asked not aware of the fact that hyunjin was basically found almost dead in the forest, they had assumed that his story was a horrible one so they didn't ask him anything. But jeongin didn't know that and asked him without the slightest clue of the situation.

"I was actually abandoned from my pack. My parents belonged to their enemy's pack and they died in the war, they took me in not knowing I was a Hwang. When they found out, they tried to chase me away but some people showed me kindness and kept me until I grew up." Hyunjin didn't hesitate to answer the question. He knew keeping it hidden won't do him any good. And he wanted to lift off the weight from his shoulders.
