CHAPTER TWO: ༄ HEIRO'S NOT KING༄

RECAP: Murmurs emerge from the crowd as Heiro challenges Xeo to a duel. The little girl hides behind a curtain, waiting for her father.

Heiro shoots his gun, which Xeo immediately dodges it.

"Xeo doesn't have a regular gun today?"

"What is that? Are those..wings? On a gun?"

Xeo shoots a bullet at Heiro. Heiro dodges it. Both of them continue to shoot each other, until it becomes a full on rapid-fire duel emerges as they both dodge and shoot bullets. Xeo bites a bullet as Heiro shoots another. As the dodging and shooting went on, at some point, Xeo was shot straight into the chest.

Xeo gasps, his body falling to the ground as the gun in his hand drops to the floor. The little girl's eyes widen as she felt her whole world go upside down... and that was her father.

Heiro: "Hah! I once again regained my title as King! Xeo, you bastard.."

Heiro starts to walk away, until a gunshot noise startles him. Before he could look back, he noticed the little girl staring him down with hatred and contempt, tears in her eyes as the bullet hits him straight into the chest. Heiro was about to shoot at her, but she was simply too fast. She shot him 5 more times, as Heiro's body falls to the ground.

Utako: "Papa! Come back, I hurt the man that hurt you, will you come back, please?"

Xeo: "...It's okay, Angel. You'll meet me again...maybe when, when you're older, alright? We'll reunite soon....Papa's only asleep. Go home, ok? You'll be fine, Angel."

Utako: "Papa..?"

The girl sniffles as she held his gun in her hand.

Xeo: "Utako, just promise me you'll be my Angel like always, okay?"

Utako: "Mhm, Papa.."

she sniffles. Xeo simply closes his eyes, rubbing her head and gently ruffling her hair and simply giving her one kiss on the forehead, and ends up passing away. Utako yells, immediately hugging her father's body, not caring about the now cold blood running through his chest and onto the floor. She hugs him and wails.
