*A week later*

Over the past week Luke started to ignore me. I finally started school. I got the things i needed and went to homeroom. I went to walk padt Luke to go to my seat but he triped me. All of my things fell out of my hands. I finally stood up and grabed my things. I looked around and everyone was staring and laughing at me. Usually i am able to brush it off and forget about it but, this time was different. I felt so humilliated. I looked at Luke one last time to see him looking at me laughing. I took off and ran oitside to a tree by the feild. Why would he do this. He was nive to me last week. I felt a tear fall on my hands. I didnt even notice i was crying. "Are you ok?" I looked up startled abd saw a really cute boy looking at me. "Yea, Im fine" i said looking back down. The boy sat down next to me and said "Im Ashton. Are you sure you are fine. Youre crying." "yea im sure. Im Jaliah by the way." "Nice to meaat you Jaliah. Would you like to get some Starbucks later after school" "I would love to"

*after school*

I was in my last class when i heard the bell ring. I hurry to my lock and put all of my things away. I saw Ashton waiting at the exit and walked to him. "Hey" "hey Jaliah, you ready to go?" I nod and followed him to his car. He opend the door for me. I thanked him then got in. I watched as he quickly walked to the other side. "You can turn the radio on if you want." He says. I smiled then turned the radio on. Blink 182 was on and i quietly sang along. Out of no whereAshton started to sing along also. He is awesome. Why isnt he famouse. I think to myself. "You are an amazing singer!" I say. "Thank you, but i am better at drums then singing." He says. "Well then, you have to show me how well you can play the drums sometime" I tell him. "I will but right now we are at Starbucks" he smiles and looks at me. We got out of the car and went to the kind lady at the front. "How may I help you" she says "I will have a carmel frap please"Ashton says "And for the lady?" She asks "I will have the same please" i tell her. I started to hand the lady the money but Ashton quickly handed her the money. "Ashton, i could have payed for that. You didnt have to" "I know but I wanted to"he laughed. We got our drinks and went to get a seat. "Now, can you tell me why you were sad earlier? Please!!!" Ashton pleaded. "Fine, well when i was on the plane
coming here, I sat beside Luke Hemmings. We became good friends. At the beginning of this week he was acting different. Well, today in class he triped me and abd made ne drop all of my things. I was so humiliated. I ran to that tree outside abd tgats when you came." I told him everything. By the time i was done Ashton had already finished his frap. Once i finished mine, we walked back out to his car. "Would you like to come to my house?" Ashton asks. "I would love to but, i have to get home. Im sorry." I tell him " oh, thats fine. Where do you love ill take you there." "Do you know where Luke lives" " yea why" "I live beside of him." He says ok then starts to drive to my house. "Thanks Ashton. I had fun today" i say getting out of the car. "Yea me too. We should do thus again sometime." "That would be nice. Oh, and dont forget that you still have to show me how well you can play drums" I tell him. He laughsn, says bye,
Then drives off. I go up to my room and change into my pajamas. I lay down on my bed and quickly fall asleep.
