√ Chapter 4 - Hold on till May

I am furious. I am so freaking pissed off I don't even know what to do! I am angry about the ginger but what really boils my blood is the fact Austin doesn't even recognize me.

I pushed past the now calmed ginger making my way to the elevator door in the stairwell of the parking garage. I slammed the damn doors open and gently pushed the up arrow button. I sat there and waited for the silver door to open. out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of red begin to approach me. Great. I shifted my weight uncomfortably as him and his "gang" approached. He scratched his head, opened his mouth. He now had my undivided attention.

"ummm. I'm really-" He was cut off by the man I knew so well from "research"... Austin.

"We sincerely apologise from the bottom of our hearts. We thought that you were well stalking us or something crazy like that. We really shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like we did. Allow us to introduce our self." 'smooth operator' I heard the chubby one mumble behind him. The look of anger disappeared off my face with ease as a more calm one approached. I parted my lips to speak.

"Apology accepted."A sweet smile tugged at my lips. I lifted my hand and continued "... Lyric Dreamily. You are?" I lied, I knew who he was i just wanted to hear his sweet voice melt my heart.

"Wow Your name is really, really pretty, just like you blue eyes." I melted inside. He began to speak up again as the boys groaned at his cheesy flirting. "..I'm Austin, Austin Carlile." Then the one by one the boys stepped up and introduced themselves.

"Hi, I'm Alan, everyone calls me Ashby though. Again I'm really really sorry." He playfully stuck his tounge out at the last part of the sentence. Cute.

"I'm Aaron Pauley." Seems sweet.

"Phil, He's Blunt, shy, and yet Insanely intriguing.

"Hey I'm Tino. I bang on drums." I can tell he's hilarious.

I nodded and gave a flash of my teeth. The elevator "dinged" and we all proceeded to get inside. The shiny doors slowly closed. The only noise that was filling the room was the elevator music. With our awkward silence the song ended and changed the next one came on and I started to smile and laugh to myself as I recalled every word. I'm the one who recorded this damn song after all.

Alan's mouth began to flap.

"HEY I LOVE THIS SONG!" He yelled as if all of us were deaf. With that I began to laugh a tad louder.

"Umm are you okay? I mean I wasn't trying to be funny." Alan questioned with confusion plastered all over his face. I attempt collected myself, by wiping my eyes and catching my breath.

"Haaa. " My laughing began to die down. "I'm sorry it's just funny because I recorded that track with the boys and it was just a riot the day we finished and released the single. " I was beginning to calm. I heard them gasp in awe.

Aaron began to question me with good intention.

"Th-they recorded here?! Avenged Sevenfold?! You recorded them?!?" Awe cute little star struck Aaron. I nodded to answer his questions. I then added "Well the album isn't exactly complete yet so you guys will probably run into them every once in a while." I turned to see Aaron begin to fangirl, well fanboy over the news. A question then popped into my head. "By the way I didn't know Of mice & men was signed to us let alone record a new album?!"

They all looked at me like they had just seen big foot. I was confused and probably looked it.

"Did I say something wrong? Is there something on me? Oh sweet Jesus don't tell me there is a spider!?" Austin snorted. Holy shaft that was hott. He then began to speak soothing my panic.

"No no it's just that um." He began to mumble and blush. I felt someone breathing on my neck and then a voice whispered into my ear. " I think Austin really likes you." With that I blushed and covered my face. No else but Alan and I knew why I was blushing.

"C'mon Austin she can't hear you!!" He looked up and then shouted."Fine! I think its really really cool that you record music and you know our band and I find you really intriguing." I was caught off guard by his comment. I just realised something!

"Austin...Do you know who I am?" I asked seriously. He nodded. "Who am I then?"

"Well you're Lyric."

"No."

Everyone was confused including myself. The elevator "dinged" again, the doors opened and I turned.

"I'm sorry." With that I made my way to the studio with the boys slowly behind me. I turned a corner and sprinted opening the door to see mel. I latched on to her arm and dragged her into my "office".

"Ouch God Lyric. That hurts you know!" I cut her off before she could complain any further. " I found him." She tilted her head. " who?"

"Austin....Carlile" she gasped and turned as the boys finally made their way into the studio. She looked to them then me.

We could hear them talk through the door. I shushed her and we listened.

"What was that about?"

"I don't know.."

"Well you know something Austin. You're not telling us though."

"Okay so I do...but I just cant tell you. Not for me to tell."

"So do you like her?" It went silent. I could feel my heart beat begin to beat faster and faster. Please say yes. Please say yes.

"..."
