I guess I should be named Nervous Zoya khan because right now I'm not feeling anything except nervousness.
Today is the day , I have to give speech .
Today is our freshers party . I should have been excited , happy and cheerful but instead of that I'm feeling nervous and hell of anxiety .
Oh no what am I suppose to do???? Ughhh .
*knock*
"Come in" I said and took a deep breath to calm my breathing down .
"What's up bestie" I looked at the door and saw Mallika entering inside my room . "Oh , you didn't went college??" I already told her to go before me but she didn't went .
"Nope I want to go with you and anyways I don't like to do this decorating vecorating" I chuckled and shook my head .
"So......are you ready for the speech??"
Nope.
"Yes" I shakily said and exhaled deeply .
Mallika rolled her eyes "When you don't know how to lie then you shouldn't lie" I smiled lightly but failed miserably and all my stress came visible in my face .
"Mallika!!! Please help me , can I back out now??" I made a sad face and asked her more like try to convince her to skip college today with me .
Tomorrow I'll an excuse to professor Bhatia that I was sick or something like that .
"What?? No way , you can't back out now ."
"Mallika!!" I whined .
"No no Zoya" she shook her head in no .
"Pretty please" I made cute face to convince her .
"This trick won't work on me zoya . And you have practiced everyday then why are you so nervous" I groaned internally .
I don't know why I'm so nervous , till yesterday I was doing fine but now suddenly all my built up confidence went in drain .
"Oh look sakshi is calling us" Mallika putted the call on speaker.
"Hello"
"Hello Mallika where are you??"
"I'm at Zoya's house"
"What?? What are you doing there?"
"Sakshi zoya is nervous and she is telling that we should skip college today" I looked at Mallika with my widened eyes .
"Yeah she was telling it indirectly" she narrowed her eyes at me while I zipped my mouth .
"Oh god!!! Mallika do one thing make zoya ready and come to college , in our classroom. It's probably empty right now okay?"
"Okay boss!" Mallika said and gave a salute .
I rolled my eyes "Mallika she can't see you"
She didn't listen to me and hanged up the call while she grabbed my bag and stood in front of me .
"Let's go"
"What??"
"Uffo we can't waste more time to do your touch up here , let's go to the college and we will do your touch up there . I'm sure Sakshi will boost your confidence"
"But-"
"No ifs and buts , let's go" she grabbed my hand and dragged me down through the staircase .
"Okay aunty we are going allah hafiz" I looked at my mother who was sitting in the living room . She looked at us surprisingly and was about to say something but Mallika dragged me out .
