RESULTS AND WHERE IT BEGINS

a/n HAPPY EASTER!!!!! Is it true that management deleted the video diaries?!?!? That has the be a crime! In the last chapter I wrote about Louis and a sea urchin. I don't know how accurate my description of it was but it is a true story! Look it up on Youtube! Anyways this is the last chapter before the actual story begins! Liam's POV

We're finaly going to hear our results from our preformance! If we'll make it to the live shows and I am nervous! We walked out and stood in front of him. You could see it in our faces. We were absolutely extremely and completely nervous. Then he began. "Do you understand why I did this in the first place?" He asked we all nodded our heads and Niall said "Yeah." Then he continued. "Because I think once we got through to the bootcamp stage there were weaknesess which is why we made the decision about all of you individually to a point you came in at a disadvantage because you didn't have the time the other groups had. On the more positive note. When it works it worked. My head is saying it's a risk, but my heart is saying that you deserve a shot and that's why it's been difficult. So I've made a decision guys. I've gone with my heart." When he said that I felt so much hope. I wanted it even more at that point. Those words "I've gone with my heart." It felt like hours but it was only about two seconds before he said his next two words. The two that changed all our lives forever. More than we knew at the time. Way more. He finished.

"You're through."

We were all overjoyed. We formed a big group hug and before two seconds Harry came out of it and gave Simon a big hug. Then Niall did then Zayn then Louis and last me. I was beyond shocked.Harry was crying and Niall kept saying oh my God and you can't believe how much this means. I was literally speechless. Louis even cried a few tears of joy. After that we did an interview. Then we talked to Simon who said we could live with him until the live shows started! Then we began our ten week or so Xfactor journey. It was the time of all of our lives! It was long ours rehearsing but we were so happy to be there we didn't mind. When we performed we were just all so happy. You could see it in our faces. Looking back you could especially tell how excited Louis was to be there. Though he never really had a solo he never complained. He just enjoyed being there. Besides performing the best part was the video diaries.

Basically the Xfactor was just an amazing time. I mean living with all the other contestants, performing on TV every week. It was amazing! It was a lot of work but like I said amazing. Each week we became more and more popular. We gained a lot of confidence with ourselves and each other.We even made it to finals. Simon was actually pretty confident that we'd win and we were a bit too. That all came crashing down on the final though when we got third place. Everyone was a bit shocked. How did this happen? I mean we had so many fans? After we left the stage that night Harry completely broke down. We all cried a bit. What's this mean? Where are we gonna live? Will people all forget about us? Will we stay a band? All these questions and more played in my head until a few days later when we met Simon in his office and we signed a recording contract. We couldn't believe it! I mean we got third. Only the winner gets a contract right? Well not in this case! The best part about all of this was that Simon bought us all flats in the same complex. We had a home! All throughout the journey on Xfactor and the Xfactor tour none of our families contacted us at all and still haven't. I honestly don't understand why. I can understand my dad but the other boys? Especially Harry. I mean his parents really cared about him. Oh well. One of life's great mysteries. Today Harry doesn't drink much or have sex with strangers. Zayn hasn't done drugs since before bootcamp. He still smokes but he's working on it. Niall's realized he's not fat and he's not anyrexic any more. At all. Louis still hears the "voices" but not nearly as much. He doesn't cut anymore either and has started wearing short sleeves since judges' houses. He still of course has ADHD but he doesn't mind. He, like the other boys, trusts me the most with secrets and stuff. They say I'm good at advice. Why? I honestly don't know. I personally think Louis' really good with advice. One day Louis and I were talking and he told me that he loves the band the most because we don't and never did judge him for his problems. We've all talked about this and thanked each other for not judging. He's also told me that he thinks it's because except for bootcamp we've only known the crazy and random Louis. And because of that we never knew him when he was "normal." The kids at school knew him before so when he started showing more signs of the disease they though he was really strange. But we never knew him before so we had nothing to judge him. I told him normal's boring and that we're happy he's how he is. Since I got out of the house I haven't had any abusive markings. I still wake up crying most nights from horid nightmares about my past though.But now we're all happy and healthy living together which is good. It feels good to finally have friends who don't judge us. We've become really close and we're literally all each other has. I love these boys and wouldn't change a thing. Sure we're all still broken deep down but we're healing and that and music's what brings us five together.

No one's POV

The families all watched as each of their boys performed on national television. They couldn't believe it when each of them found out where their sons had gone. Liam's dad was furious and destroyed everything that belonged to Liam. Louis was right and his parents didn't care at all. But his sisters missed him terribly. Harry's parents were upset about losing their son. They were too scared and shocked to call though. Zayn's parents hardly noticed him gone and went about their daily activities as if he was never there. Mary and the orphanage were sad to see him go but when they found out where he was they were so proud. But he didn't have a phone so they could never tell him this. All the sisters though missed their dear brothers terribly and wanted to contact them but their parents wouldn't allow them to. The families all watched their sons on the telly every week though. Deep down they were all proud though. But not Liam's father. He was angry. Liam had snuck out to join a tv competition never to return with no word to anybody. Liam's dad wanted one thing. Revenge. Revenge on each and everyone of the boys. Revenge on Simon Cowell. But most of all revenge on Liam.
