"Tsk" Eclipse scoffed. He was leaning right on the other side of the closed door, eavesdropping what was happening in the room. The animatronic closed his eyes for a few seconds, sighed, then stood up straight and started walking away. "Idiots, throwing themselves into this endless pit without even questioning the risks." He thought out loud. "I didn't build Bloodmoon to handle that much energy. Nano machines are light and independent, good for attacking and shielding to a certain degree, but it's not hard metal, when it comes to handling pressure and energy they're worse then awful. And I don't even want to think about how they're reacting to this new, unnatural source of  energy such as MaGic." The tall robot abruptly stopped in his tracks "... heh... hahahaha, at this rate he's gonna end up completely overloading Bloodmoon and killing his precious, precious child, hahaha. Well I guess Killcode IS doing his job after all. What he was made for." He took another step, but his body froze "...should I tell him...?"  Eclipse looked down, debating with himself, but in the end he still was Eclipse, too proud to help someone without being begged. "Ah, screw that. It's surely not my problem and I don't feel like getting involved with that crap. Good luck to them." He walked away, heading back to his lab to work on Solar Flare.

Right before entering the lab, a soft breeze brushed against his body, presumably from the small windows at the front door. Eclipse couldn't help himself and walked through the building, all the way to said windows and finally, there they were. The gigantic closed doors with the tiny windows high up in the wall. Strangely enough almost all of them were open, which weirded Eclipse out quite a lot considering how high from the ground they were, say, 32 feet/ 10 meters? The sun animatronic knew very well how Killcode didn't like them being open, and now he had to figure out a way to close them before he found out, so he started looking around but saw absolutely nothing that could help him. The idea of a ladder was already thrown away, who has such a long ladder anyway. Another solution Eclipse could come up with was climbing with a rope. He sighed. "I'll look so stupid won't I..." Resigned, the robot thought about where to get a rope and when he remembered where it could be, he went off to grab it and return. A good ten minutes later there he was, standing before the windows again with the rope in his hands, ready to be as embarrassing as he could. Eclipse tried making some sort of knot at one end of said rope and throw it all the way to the metal pipes on the ceiling. It took him an absurd amount of time to make that freaking thing tie correctly and securely to the pipes with just a well gaged throw, but in the end he managed to. He honestly wanted to scream his victory before this frustrating minutes, but held himself back to preserve that little dignity he had left and was gonna lose in a few moments. The animatronic diligently tied the rope to his waist and prepared to make a fool of himself. "All right Eclipse, you're ready. It's for you own survival.  ...I actually have no idea where to start..."  he stared at the wall and sighed, starting the first attempt to climb it. Failed. The second did too. Once again it took him so much time to understand how to reach up there without falling after the first three steps. Just as Eclipse predicted, he was really embarrassing, making quite a fool out of himself, constantly looking down, getting cold sweat for the height, his limbs shaking from fatigue, the constant self consciousness creeping behind him, I mean COME ON, he wasn't made to do this kind of stuff, definitely not built strong enough to climb so high up from the ground! Not for nothing he was the brain of this dysfunctional group.

Once the robot got to windows height, he looked through and-... wow... the outside... haven't seen that in a while. It was so bright and alive, in complete contrast between the inside of the base, so dull cold. Normally Eclipse would have preferred the base, but being forced by someone else to stay inside for weeks made it a revolting place to even acknowledge, plus the fact that he was only allowed in certain areas of the base and surely not outside. Killcode casted a confinement spell on all the rooms and doors he wasn't allowed in, including the front doors, Bloodmoon's side of the building, the second and third floor, in short everything except his lab, his bedroom, the PATH to the front doors and the meeting room, so called 'kitchen' . According to Killcode it was to avoid any distractions that might stop Eclipse from his work, and he was damn right. Eclipse really had nothing better to do, so he always buried himself in that work to distract himself from the frustration that staying in those two rooms caused him. That's why seeing the outside world was so... mesmerizing? No. Actually probably. A comforting breeze picked up and Eclipse once again sighed, feeling in on his faceplate and rays, allowing himself to relax and let loose of the world around him... "BLOODMOON STAY FOCUSED!" He jumped at the sound of a furious Killcode booming through the whole building. Okay, maybe relaxing moments later huh? One by one, Eclipse quickly closed all the windows and carefully come back down, his feet finally touching the ground. The robot was about to leave, but something was stopping him, like a voice in his head telling him not to turn around and just escape from that prison. Thinking about it, Eclipse did have access to the entrance, he could open it. Honestly it always felt like a cruel joke on him, letting him open the doors but not exit that place. Before he could even realize it, the panel on his arm opened, looking down at it the temptation only grew, the button for the doors right there, waiting to be pressed, calling his name. The robot couldn't resist and pressed it, the gigantic doors in front of him slowly and loudly, giving Eclipse cold sweat and paranoia. Did Killcode hear that? Hopefully not... The orange robot looked back the whole time to make sure no one was coming, and when he turned around, there it was... the outside again. Not just a speck of view, no, a whole horizon. How long since the last time? One? Two weeks? He slowly got closer to the exit, his hands shaking ever so slightly. After a few minutes of him just standing there, contemplating the outside, Eclipse stretched out a shaky hand, slowly, carefully, already regretting his decision, hesitating... The moment his hand crossed the barrier confining him inside \\\\ZAP //// "AHHHH GODDAMNIT!" a shock went off, zapping him and making him retract his hand in pain. Eclipse didn't have the time to lament any further that distant steps started getting closer. He panicked and pressed the 'close' button multiple times before turning around and dashing towards his lab, where he was intended to be, not even looking back to see if the doors actually closed, their noise was more then enough to reassure him of at least that.

Eclipse barely had the time to enter the lab and compose himself that another, taller, darker robotic figure peeked in and spoke in a calm, collected, authoritarian and kinda threatening voice "What are you doing Eclipse? We heard loud noises coming from here" while talking, Bloodmoon peeped out from right behind him with their usual, curious, snarky grin on their hideous face. "Are you in trouble?"  "Is he in trouble?" the twins asked snickering under their breath. "Not yet Bloodmoon" Killcode answered not even bother looking at them, staring right through Eclipse. "What were you doing... Eclipse...?" Of course, Eclipse, being the prideful animatronic he is, made up a quick, believable answer on the spot, looking and sounding convincing enough "something backfired and it zapped me, so?" The orange robot rounded snarky and challenging , just like his usual tone. "And why all that noise?" At that question the animatronic got once again cold sweat, hiding it perfectly behind a smirk, a scoff and a well timed comeback "I had my panel opened and accidentally activated the front doors." yeah... sometimes a half truth is the most believable lie. "Mmmh..." The red gremlin looked back and forth between Eclipse and Killcode a few times, then tugged his father's pants "So? Is he in trouble? Is he? Is he?" "Quiet Bloodmoon." Killcode ordered. "...No, he is not." He then turned around and started walking away, not even looking at any of his children in the face, just straight in front of him. "AHHHH!" Bloodmoon stomped their feet on the ground in one of their usual tantrums. "Let's go Bloodmoon." the tall, menacing animatronic ordered again. "AHHH!"  "But that's NO FUN!" they lamented, following behind their father, leaving Eclipse alone. The orange animatronic held his breath carefully listening to their steps and voices leave, getting farer and weaker and when he was sure they wouldn't hear he stressfully sighed and thought to himself "That was a close call..." he walked to his chair and sat down "what the hell has gotten into me?! ...God that was so IDIOTIC of me. I have to be more careful, no, what am I saying? I Mustn't do that stuff to begin with." Eclipse groaned once again, looking at the ceiling, arms crossed on his chest. He leaned towards the computer and sped up the machinery intended to build Solar Flare, slowing everything else down in the lab, including himself, as a sort of power saving mode. Doing this would avoid his lab to shut down for overload while still having Solar Flare built faster.

(Side note: Eclipse's lab is all connected to a singular core that ailments it with energy, but since it's limited, if something needs more power something else will slow down. Another thing. Eclipse is technically part of the lab and he too gets energy from its core, that's why he had to slow himself down)

"Maybe if I get this done he'll let me be..." these were the last words Eclipse pronounced that night, before fully returning to the Solar Flare project, dealing with it alone in silence, like every day, like every time.
