I am impressed. 60 Upvoted the last chapter lol.

Upvote if you want to keep seeing quality (at least in my eyes) content for the upcoming chapters as well.

Also, I am writing the chapters split on days, so now I guess the updates should come out more frequently at least.

By the way, I saw my story getting recommended a lot in the Horikitafanclub subreddit and discords. I appreciate it🙏

Have fun reading!

With Kiyotaka being ill, he was attending just the first hour, which happened to be the announcement of the special exam voting results.

The atmosphere was down, some were sweating, some were panicking, and some were composed.

However, there was one person, that wasn't any of that... Guess who it was.

"N-No! That's not possible! No way! Recount the votes! Are you sure that there isn't a mistake?! Maybe he was the first place in the most discriminate voted! Have you accidentally mistaken me for Ayanokouji or what?!"

I was shaking like crazy, never had I experienced something like this before. It was anxiety.

Alone the look in Yamauchi's eyes was one as if he saw someone dying. He is the first who fell...

And I have to take responsibility for my decision to publicly announce who to vote on. The view on this situation is a lot worse than expected. Only two individuals were as calm as ever.

Kiyotaka and Koenji.

"No. It's written on this sheet of paper and proven by various staff. We want you to pack your belongings, and visit me at the principal's office, we will check your status there and how your life is going to resume after this special exam."

"N-No it can't be!"

He wasn't accepting the reality. Neither was I. I was looking at a classmate who was being expelled in front of my eyes, and the worst thing was, that I was feeling some sense of pity towards him.

But I couldn't help it.

"(There goes the first...)"

Kiyotaka muttered.

If it wasn't for him, I would've never interfered here in the first place. But I had no choice. I was emotionally incapable of breaking his trust.

I was ready to break the trust of the entire class, in exchange for his. This is foolish. All that development since enrollment, just for me to make such a severe mistake...

What would Manabu have done?

The entire class was quiet.

"That slut..."

Now he was starting to make it worse, exposing the fact that he made a verbal deal with Sakayanagi, which stabbed him in the back.

He was manipulated by Sakayanagi, that's stupid. Not as if I wasn't being manipulated all the time, but this was just too obvious. If you ever fall for the trick of a cute girl asking you to do something in return for a relationship, then you know it's nothing good.

Just what was he thinking?

Not my problem though, what my current problem is, is the fact that probably now, I was hated, or feared. After all, a simple intervention ruined his future.
