In realms of ink and paper, where fairy tales held sway,A little girl once danced, in dreams both night and day.
But as she grew, with schoolwork piled high,
Her princess dreams faded, as life went rushing by.
Amidst the pages worn and loved, she sought her secret place,
Where princesses found courage, in every daring chase.
But as the real world called her name, with its demands so high,
She drifted from those fairy tales, with a wistful sigh.
In the land of mean girls' whispers, where kindness seemed so rare,
She longed for the heroes found, in stories penned with care.
For in those worlds of magic, where love would always win,
She found solace in the pages, where dreams would never dim.
Yet as she faced the trials of life, with burdens hard to bear,
She clung to her beloved books, where magic filled the air.
For though the princess dreams may fade, beneath the weight of time,
In stories old and tales untold, her spirit learned to climb.
So as she falls asleep, with her book held tight,
She drifts to her fairyland, in the soft glow of night.
And though she may outgrow her crown, and leave her castle far behind,
In the pages of her favourite tales, her dreams forever bind.
