"Now, let the game begin!" The queen announced. All of the queen's men turned to her and took a bow at her request.
Hundreds and thousands of Xanadu people flood the large field, coming to watch the queen's orders. You can barely hear a thing with all the shouting and cheering as the referee calls each number up. "Number 8, Devin Tess, Number 9, Levi Levine, Number 10, Farne Becket, And last on the Xanadu team, Number 11, Scarlett Spence." The referee says with a large microphone, getting the crowd slightly silent.
Everyone on the field gets into place. Number 3, the goalie, number 8 and 9, defence, number 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, and 11, offence. The Xanadu team sees the other team start getting into place, the referee blows his whistle and the ball is immediately kicked.
"MY NAILS!" Devin Tess screams, "I AM LITERALLY FREAKING OUT!" She says again practically sobbing.
"Break!" The referee yells, running to Devin Tess on the floor screaming. One person on the other team was playing around and kicked the ball right into her head. Silent, everyone was silent. Until Devin finally broke that silence, "IS ANYBODY GOING TO CALL THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT?"
With one less player on the Xanadu team, chances were low. But, Scarlett was good, not the best, but good. The referee takes a breath, hoping that scenario wouldn't happen again, and with that, he blows his whistle.
Scarlett tries to take a shot but everyone is crowded up around her and she just misses. The other team quickly gets the ball and shoots.
4-5 Xanadu team having the lower side, Stakes were higher than ever! With only 3 more minutes on the clock, Scarlett knew she had to do something. She charged at the ball and with a hard kick, she flew it into the goal.
5-5 The teams were tied, but they knew to impress the queen, standing on a high throne, they would have to get to six. Levi Levine was away from the large crowd, Scarlett kicked the ball to him, and he made it into the goal.
9-6 Xanadu team was rising! Only 51 seconds left, They knew they could get to ten. Scarlett scored another goal, And so did the other team. Making the score 10-8.
SCREECH!
The referee blew his whistle, The game was over. The queen and everyone else started clapping. "XANADU TEAM WINS!" The referee announced.
The queen began to shout. "Come back tomorrow, you will have the next challenge laying at your feet." The queen announced, "And that is not a request, that is a demand." The queen added.

Author's note- This book is based in England so that is why some of the words aren't spelled as they are in America, and 'football' is basically soccer. Also sorry for any mistakes, I don't know much about English sports since I'm from America, but I tried my best.
