Chapter Eighteen: Were Done Again

Were done. And this time I was serious. My heart literally shattered. There he was. The man that claimed to love me. Kissing another women. His hands all over his body, she sat on his lap barely in clothes. In his own office. Where we had done it multiple times.

He claimed to love me. I believed him. My native dumbass self believed him. What the hell is wrong with me. There's no going back from this. I didn't lose him. He lost me. I threw my suitcase down the stairs. "Where are you going?" Alessia asked "I'm leaving. Your brother clearly doesn't care anymore. Don't expect me to come back here. If you want to see me. Come to Mexico." I said. She hugged me. "I'll miss you." Alessia said "I'll miss you too. But you can still call me. Just don't mention him." I said.

I got into my jet. Mexico here I come away from him. Away from everybody. I needed time to myself.

I was right the past few days, was amazing. I was healing. Mentally. I needed too. My brothers and parents called checking up on me. I haven't told them anything. I just said I was on a vacation with Fiorenzo. We know that's a lie.

I also have been working out. It wasn't my old body but I felt more confident. I was going to start going back on missions soon. But the easy and less stressful ones. Life has been good. I was healing. Relationships just didn't sit right with me. It was for the best. I met a new friend. Her name is Maria. She's a beautiful hispanic woman.

"So what are we doing today?" Maria asked "Not sure. What do you want to do?" I asked "I figure we could go get our nails done. And have a spa day." Maria said "That would be amazing." I said "So how have you been though?" Maria asked "What do you mean?" I asked "You know. Getting used to living here." Maria said "It's actually amazing. It's more peaceful than New York and Italy." I said "That's good." Maria said "What about you? How's your boyfriend?" I asked "He's different but the only thing is he lives in Italy. And he says his brother is acting a little different. So he can't come here. But I really wanted him to meet you." Maria said "Well your boyfriend sounds amazing and loving. I'm taking a break from relationships." I said.

"I love them. There so pretty." Maria said "I love yours. Even if it's just plan pink." I said "You know how much I love pink." Maria said "I do. I've seen your apartment." I said. I stayed at a villa, Maria would sometimes stay the night. She lived in this apartment complex.

I laid on my bed, debating on whether I should call Alessia. If I do she'll probably just go on about Fiorenzo. Fuck it. I'm calling her. "Umm Dinora. Now's not Avery good time." Alessia said "Why? What happened?" I asked "Fiorenzo kinda got arrested. And we're trying to bail him out. But the police won't listen to a word we have to say." Alessia said "That sucks." I said "Wait." Alessia said "No. No Alessia I'm not doing it." I said "Pleaseeeeee." She begged "No. I'm not helping him. That's just a bad idea." I said "If you love me you will do it." Alessia said "Ugh. You better not be doing puppy eyes right now." I said "And what if I was?" Alessia asked"Fine. Fine I'll do it." I said.

"Yay." Alessia said "I probably won't be there until tomorrow. Also I'm bringing my friend Maria." I said "Ooo a new girl. I like like." Alessia said "And you're not going to turn her into a sex freak." I said "Can't make promises." Alessia said. We hang up. I called Maria. She was so excited to join. I packed my bags.

I didn't like being back here at all. Maria was so excited though. She even called her boyfriend telling him she was here. I pulled up to Fiorenzo's mansion. "You have a key?" Maria asked "Mhm. I used to date someone here." I said. I walked in. Diego came walking down the stairs. Maria screamed.

She ran to Diego. He picked her up and they kissed. "What the hell." I said "What did you get here?" Diego asked "Is this your boyfriend?" I asked "Yea. Is there a problem?" Maria asked "No. This lying bastard told me he was gay." I said.

"That's how you kept your relationship a secret." Diego said "You even told your mother you were gay!" I yelled "Because she's nosy. You seen what she did to you." Diego said. He isn't lying. She treated me like shit. "Okay. So what do I have to do, to bail your brother out. Even though I don't want too." I said "Dinora. We all know damn well. You still have feelings for him." Diego said "No I don't." I said "Liar." Maria said "No I'm not. Be quiet you." I said. She laughed. Alessia came running. I picked her up and hugged her. "I missed you." She said "I missed you too." I said "Can you get yours hands off my sister ass?" Diego asked "No." I said. I put her down.

"Where's Isla?" I asked "Sleeping. She had a rough day of school." Alessia said "Okay. So what do I have to do?" I asked "Easy talk to the police. And convince them that he is innocent." Alessia said "But he isn't." I said "Okay but we kinda need him here." Diego said "Fine." I said.

I got into my car and started driving to the police station. My phone started ringing. "What's up Dami?" I asked "Where are you?" Damiano asked "Italy." I said "Dinora!?" Damiano yelled "What. I couldn't help myself. They need help getting Fiorenzo out of jail." I said "Nora I love you and all. But you really need to get your love life together." Damiano said "I do have my love life together." I said "Then, why are you in Italy helping a man you supposedly hate?" Damiano asked "Umm. I'll call you later byeee." I said. I hung up before he could say anything.
