The Feast of Fortuna, also known as the Feast of Fortune, is the equivalent of the summer solstice at Camp Jupiter. It is held on the date of June 24th. This day determines whether or not Camp Jupiter will have good luck for the rest of the year or not. The feast is held for Fortuna, the Roman goddess of luck.
The Feast is held on the streets of New Rome. There is a lot of dancing and celebrating going on. Vendors and stands line the streets, selling goods. Everyone is excited, dancing along to the music that is being played.
In the center of New Rome, there is a huge hearth blazing. Before everyone takes a bite of their meals, they sacrifice a portion of it to the goddess Fortuna and send a small prayer of good luck for the coming year.
