I was enough or wasn't I? This question played in Harlow head as the tall chocolate handsome Detective Rogers sat across from her in a cold dark Interrogation room. Harlow tried to remain calm as Detective Rogers starred at her without using any words but saying so much.
"Can I make a call?" Harlow asked trying to end the silence that was eating her up.
"Ms.Robertson you aren't saying anything I want to hear." Detective Rogers said in his smooth deep voice.
"Well you didn't ask me any damn thing. We been in this room for over an hour and I still don't know why I'm here." Harlow splatted.
"Well, we both know why you are here. The real question is why did you do it?" Detective Rogers said.
The thing is Harlow knew why the FBI , Atlanta PD, and the Valentines Family Members was after her but she didn't know why she decided to do what she did besides Betrayal and Hurt.
"Detective Rogers have you ever been in love with the Devil?" Harlow asked crossing her legs looking dead in his eyes.
"That's quite a question to ask especially with the circumstances that revolve you being here at this very moment." Detective Rogers replied.
"Have you?" Harlow asked again
Detective Rogers cleared his throat and loosened up his Armani tie trying to reframe from telling the beautiful woman sitting in front of him that he was there to end her and it was the devil himself that sent him to do it.
"No, I can't recall ever being in love
with the devil Ms.Robertson."Detective Rogers answered
"I have and I wish I would've looked the other way. See the thing about the Devil is he never show his true self but, when he does it's too late he already have your soul. I tried to get my soul back and now I'm here."Harlow pleaded.
"I see women like you all the time. You women always tell the same story. You try to play the victim but in reality you are the Villain. Ms. Robertson stop wasting my time and tell me why you attempted to assassinate Mr. Niko Valentines." Detective Rogers asked irritated.
Harlow heart skipped a beat hearing that man name as if he was standing in the same room with that evil side smile that she once loved.
"You think I'm playing Victim? I'm not acting I was a victim in the beginning then I got on his level and became the Villain. I was a good wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend until I wasn't. My life was okay before Niko came and ruined it. You want to know why I tried to kill my husband when you should be asking why wouldn't I?".....
