So sorry for the delay in posting this episode
School work :( :(

As Katherina  walked home in the cold night , all she could think about was what she had just witnessed. Her life suddenly became too dramatic for her. She tried calling Jessie but she didn't pick up. She made up her mind that she was going to find her secret admirer, the jerk that vandalised her locker and the guy that saved her tonight.

*****************

At school the next day, Katherina could not find Jessie. Its like she disappeared! She hadn't even told her what transpired last night. While she was swimming in her own thoughts, she heard over the school speaker
"Jordan Miller report to the Chancellor's office right now". Mrs Smith sounded so angry.
Oh well! That had nothing to do with Katherina. She opened her locker and for the first time in a long while, Katherina didn't receive any anonymous love letter. So she went ahead to look for her best friend.  Finally, she saw Jessie in Arts room but Jessie didn't sit where they normally sit down together. When she waved at Jessie, she pretended not to see her and continued her conversation. Katherina was surprised. Maybe she didn't see her. She walked up to Jessie but before she could get to where Jessie was, Jessie stood up and left. Katherina ran up to Jessie. "Hey, haven't seen you all day" "Oh hi Katherina. I've been quite busy with my school stuff" Jessie replied. Katherina didn't understand what "school stuff"would have kept her busy. Katherina tried to tell her what happened last night bit Jessie waived it off saying she had somewhere to be. Katherina had understood all the signals but she didn't understand why. Why was Jessie avoiding her???? This was and would always be the first genuine friend Katherina had ever had. Why was she suddenly pushing her away? Tears trickled down Katherina's cheeks as she walked to her locker. Just when she has a lot going in in her life and needed a shoulder to lie on , poof !!! Jessie disappears. She had survived all on her own all this time. She will keep on living like she did before ; ALONE!!!

********************

Just as she was wallowing in self pity, Mrs Smith, some uniformed men, and her school mate were coming towards the direction of her locker. She was confused. However, they stopped two lockers before hers. When they opened the locker, the uniformed men brought out a white powdery substance wrapped in a transparent polythene bag. The uniformed men confirmed that it was cocaine and they marched back into the Chancellor's office. The whole hallway was filled with gasps and murmurs from other students. Katherina could not care any less. It had literally nothing to do with her.
Over the speaker , Mrs Smith announced the expulsion of Jordan Miller for the wrong use of harmful substance in school. While Jordan was packing his stuff from the locker, he kept on swearing the he knew nothing about the cocaine and how it got into his locker.
Just then did Katherina realise that she had a connection with this whole scenario. It wasn't Jordan that owned the cocaine! It was that gang that snuck into school the other night! Katherina had to tell the principal about this! If not that will be expelling an innocent  boy from school.
She walked up to Jordan, held him by his hands and led him straight in to the Chancellor's office.
"

Mrs Smith, Jordan didn't do it" Katherina said as she marched into Mrs Smith's office. Both Mrs Smith and Jordan were confused
"What do you mean he didn't do it ? Or are you his accomplice???!!!! Mrs Smith roared. "No! I said it wasn't him because he was framed. Yesterday, there was a group of boys that snuck into school at night and I saw them implant that in his locker. Although I didn't see their faces but they were about 5 of them. In fact to prove my point, they also vandalised my locker for some reason I don't know. Those boys are most likely in this school and you have to find them " Mrs Smith wasn't buying this story. Even after Katherina showed her the locker, she was still unsure. She asked her what she was doing in school at dark and she narrated her whole spy escapade to Mrs Smith. Mrs Smith still had her doubts  but she let Jordan stay until she found the real culprits, if there were any. But she warned Katherina that if Jordan was guilty, she'd be expelled as well. Wow!

***********************

Katherina went back to living her lonely life when Jordan approached her. "Hi thanks for your help back there. Can we be friends if you don't mind. You seem like a really nice person though " "Well, you're welcome and I don't do friends. I only did that  because I knew the truth and not because I cared if you were going to get expelled or not because I don't even know you  " Katherina responded  and left. Jordan felt so embarrassed. He had never been rejected before in his entirety .

Was Katherina making the same mistake of pushing away a friend?
