Lu Huaiyu's voice was very gentle, deep, and relaxed as if he was merely saying this casually, but Ning Li instantly blushed.

That woman had only said that to coax the child. How could Lu Huaiyu repeat it?

Ning Li quickly stood up.

"Second Brother, I should probably head back."

Lu Huaiyu also stood up.

"I'll see you off."

Ning Li paused.

She was the one who had called him over, so this did not seem appropriate...

"It's better if I walk you downstairs."

The two of them went downstairs.

Gu Siyang pointed upstairs.

"My friend's family is here, so we're leaving first. Are you guys going back to Capital First High? I can send you back!"

A boy next to him immediately reminded him. "Siyang, didn't your uncle forbid you from touching any cars?"

Gu Siyang gritted his teeth. "Would it kill you to keep your mouth shut?"

"Thanks for the offer, but there's no need. Our teacher drove here."

Ning Li knew that Gu Tinglan had banned Gu Siyang from driving because of the crash last time.

She had not expected that the ban still had not been lifted even after so long.

That car must have been of great importance to the Gu family.

Hearing what she said, Gu Siyang could only say, "Alright then, we'll get going first."

Ning Li said goodbye to them before she went upstairs.
