A week has passed since I entered the academy and so far, it only contained average discussions that I already learned back before I died. I can finally lay low comfortably here in the sidelines-or so I thought...
Because I was an Omega, the school officials insisted on putting me in a separate dorm along with the other few Omegas hailing from the upper years. Still, the Association strongly rejected the idea and insisted on getting me my place outside the Academy since I haven't awakened my gift like the others.
Both feared the other gaining more influence on me, which then ended up in a unilateral decision that I'd be given a separate place in exchange for staying inside the academy's premises, but In the meantime, I was placed together with Angelica since she has no room mate.
(A/N: The dormitory uses the buddy/two-man system)
"We don't have class 'til 9 am, what you wanna do?"
"Eat. I'm starving"
"To cafeteria it is...
And with that, she grabbed my hand in a tight grip and dragged me away.
Shortly after entering, we made our way inside looking for any vacant table and gladly found one. It may seem that everybody else is minding their own businesses, I can feel every looming stare and looks thrown at me.
Though I pretended not to pay any attention and ignored the urge to gouge out their eyeballs, it bothers me up to some extent. After all, I still can't shake this uneasy feeling that someone out there is always keeping their eyes on me regardless of any time or place.
Not that it isn't true with both the Militia and the Association keeping tabs at me, but there's this unknown presence that gives me the cold feeling of worry and uneasiness. Something I always hoped to never experience again in this life, but I guess there's no way stopping it from coming back again and again.
While I'm waiting for Angelica here in the cafeteria tables, I can't help but think about Lis' and Ally's awakening which was getting nearer by the day and I still have few to no information about the means of controlling the awakening of a gift. I had little recollection of their awakening back then since I had just only woken up from my coma but this time, its different.
Given the fact that I won't be siding with the Association, then the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Utilizing the militia's influence would be good but I can't just barge in directly and ask to be buddies now can't I?
To add more, the Militia isn't the type to openly issue hostility towards the association publicly and unlike the Association, they tend to be more picky in recruiting members. Although their numbers might be a tad lesser than those of the Association, more that 80% of them are pure Hyper-Dominant Alphas.

(A/N)
Alpha's are classified into two types
Normal-Dominant & Hyper-Dominant
(Unlike Normal Dom's, the Hyper-Doms are far more superior in every aspect. Two unique characteristics they hold, is-one; their pheromones can forcefully dominate other Aplhas, and two; is their ability to break the limits of their gifts which normal doms cannot do)
