I'm here. At the meeting spot. Where I will see Sophie, the enemy. Seconds later, thunder boomed as Sophie fell down. " You came," I said, elated. "Yes. I think this is a mistake..." she replied while staring at the melder in my hand.

"No, this is just in case your mother followed you. Don't be afraid," I told her, but her eyes did not soften.

"Why did you ask me to  come here and meet you?"she asked suspiciously.

To see you.

That's what I came for.

"Truce? Between our groups? The Black swan and the Neverseen?" I finally said.

"Hah, you know that's impossible. Why don't you ask my mom? Let's see if she'll chop your head off," she retorted hotly. I just it's kind of the Black Swan's fault that they killed Sophie's father.

"I should leave. Goodbye," Sophie muttered as she looked around for a cliff to jump off. I grabbed for be hand. She looked back at me, with mixed feelings. I could feel it. "Just... stay," I said, then passing her a note I wrote.

She stared at it, read it a few times and then turned away. "Mother would never allow this. Even if I do have feelings for you, she will never say yes," she said.

"Do you have feelings for me?" I asked curiously.

"I...yes...but we still can't be together," she said rather reluctantly.

"This is why I'm asking for a truce!" I exclaimed.

"You think...you think that we can have a truce? Forkle would never say yes even if Mother said yes. We took away your dearest Fitz! And you took away Father!"she exploded.

As she finally found a cliff, her last word before she jumped was: "Sorry..."
