Chapter 1: Y/n's life (A short intro)

You were working in your lab on a time machine with your assistant and best friend Lisa. The lab was a bright one with few tables filled with different documents, notebooks, small devices and some other random stuff. Lisa was sitting there having her lunch and telling you to have yours too but you were ignoring her still focused working on a huge tree sized machine with many calendar and clock looking devices, a whole lot of complex circuits and wires etc.

"Lisa pass me that time turner switch" You said still focused on your work.

"No first you eat this lunch and then after we will continue the work" Lisa ordered you.

"Leave it, I will take it myself" You stood up, picked the clock like looking thing and continued the work.

"Such a boring workaholic person you are, give yourself time! discover the world, or at least grab some time to feed yourself." Lisa said in a sarcastic manner.

"Just a minute, it is almost done" you said attaching the switch to the machine.

"No you will not do anything, first have your lunch and then any further work" Lisa snatched the screw driver from your hands.

"Fine! Get me that plate."You grabbed the plate and you both started eating while discussing random topics.

"Bro, you should get some time for yourself, you should discover yourself, discover the world, why you are always in these tools, notebooks and machines? Isn't it boring?." Lisa said in annoyed tone.

"Why you keep asking the same thing when you know my reply..." you said in a cold manner.

"Stop being a boring book worm, you should enjoy the life, god has gave us life to enjoy it and not to ruin it inside a science lab!" Lisa exclaimed in an annoyed tone.

"Okay, what do you want me to do then?" you asked.

"Come to shopping and parties with me, enjoy your life, give yourself a break have some fun with friends"Lisa said cheerfully.

"And what if I say I find fun in working here."

"Nobody can have fun confined in a lab with some random tools and machines."

"You know they are not some random machines, they are my only dream! I also want to enjoy my life and I will definitely do that, but only after completing this project." You said in a assuring tone.

"Fine! Nobody can defeat you in debates" Lisa said in hopeless tone.

"I know it" You proudly flipped your hair and you both got back to work.

You were not that cold and workaholic person since childhood, in fact you not even liked studies.

FLASHBACK:

At childhood you were a playful kid, you just wanted to enjoy your life, you hated studies, work and everything that can come between you and joy but destiny wanted something else. Your parents died in a car accident when you were in 5th standard. Your father was a CEO of a huge company and hence he left you with a lot of wealth which was enough for you to live a lavish life for the next century. 

But you were left all alone, your uncle Daniel visited you almost everyday, he took care of you but all you craved for was parent's love. Still your life was going normal, you had wealth, few good friends and everything a normal child will want.

But one day your life changed. You were roaming in the school Library when a book fell on your head. You picked the Book titled "Mysteries of Time" written by Pro.Kim Namjoon. You opened the book and started reading. It was about some basics of time travel theory according to your standard, somehow got more and more interested in the theory and completed the whole book in just one week. You started searching for all resources you could get about time travel theory of Pro.Kim Namjoon. You wanted to bring your parents back to present from the past. You completed your engineering studies and as soon as you completed your studies you opened a private Lab and started working on the machine based on time travel theory with your Best friend Lalisa who was a fellow student in college.

END OF FLASHBACK

"It has been months we are working on this machine, how long will it take to complete it" Lisa asked curiously.

"Look, we both are working on the same place on a same machine on same theory, so you also know as much as I know" you replied still engaged in the calculations in your notebook.

"According to our calculations, this machine would have started working till now" Lisa said.

"We are doing it for the first time, don't expect it to go in flow with our calculations" you replied without even looking at her.

"At least reply me properly" she said snatching your notebook.

"Lisa what are you doing?" you started chasing her, she ran here and there in the lab while giggling and laughing and you chased her with annoyed face, after a couple of minutes you both stopped.

"Get me the notebook back!" you said breathing heavily. 

"Stop being boring book worm" Lisa replied. She was also breathing heavily due to running from you, she stopped to take a proper breathe, you grabbed the chance and jumped to get your notebook.

"You will never change!" Lisa said in disbelief.

"Not in this life!" you replied with a proud smile and buried yourself back into the calculation. Lisa accepted the defeat and got back to work with you.

After working for a few hours like that with some playful moments Lisa got up and started packing up her stuff.

"It is too late for me, mom might be worrying for me at home, will come tomorrow, Bye!" Lisa said picking up her bag.

"Tomorrow come a little earlier, we will give it a final trial to the machine" You said while working without looking at her.

"Really? I am so excited to test it, I can't wait" Lisa said excitedly you smiled at her.

After her departure you kept working late night to complete the machine and after a couple of hours you slept while working.
