Astrid's pov.
"Anyways, I really need to sleep now. It getting late now" I say while yawning
I sit on my bed and pull over the blanket over me. I'll just clean up the mess later on.
I wake up, and again, drenched in sweat but the weird part is that I don't remember having a dream or so. Then why? I look at the clock and realize that it's already 7:30 am while Im supposed to reach at 8:00 am. I hardly get up and start running around trying to find all the things and get ready.
"I should have cleaned up the mess earlier, now it's getting in the way!" I sigh and I continued.
I didn't took a bath because I was already late and just hurred up and somehow make it till the bus stop at 7:45 and just as I was a few steps away the bus left me standing there and thinking that maybe I should just leave it for today and take a leave
3rd person pov
Astrid happily walked towards her house thinking that now she could sleep peacefully until she opened up her front door
Astrid's pov
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!"
I yelled as I saw a big fat cockroach just chilling on my sofa
"YOU BETTER PAY THE BILLS TOO IF YOU WANNA LIVE IN HERE THEN!!" Ofcourse I didn't struggled a bit with the bills but I certainly will run out of cash at some point.
"Young lady! Slow it down" I here the neighborhood aunty yell as I apologized to them "I'm so sorry aunty, it won't happen again" "it's fine, just be careful and don't break our windows the next time you scream" aunty said with a smile and closed her front door.
That lady right there is truly so lively. But anyways, I have bigger problems to focus on right now.
I got in and the coclroach flew away, great now how am I supposed to sleep? With the blanket covering my whole body from top to bottom.
I opened my bedroom door and looked at the mess. Now I have to clean this too. Then I started picking up things when something came across my mind. I looked outside the window and just starred there for a moment. I looked back at the mirror. Nah, it can't be related to my parents, they both died 4 years ago and this all is happening now.
Then it's must be that I am going crazy, but the soil in my nails......that was real, so I don't think that I am going crazy now.
I lay my bag on my bed and jump on my sweet sweet bed and drift off to sleep thinking that maybe I'll have a weird dream again.
12:00
I woke up and and this time I slept quite peacefully. I looked at the time to notice that it was exactly 12:00 pm, that's a weird coincidence.
I woke up and thought of taking a walk around that forest but something in me said that there was a reason that I shouldn't be finding out about it. I shrugged that feeling and walked towards the bathroom and looked at the mirror. I looked at the marks on my neck and it was darker this time, first there were just a little faded weird symbols but now the symbols looks the same but it's just darker in colour, is it good or not then? Anyways, I think that I have to learn to live with a scarf around my neck the whole time.
I took a comb and started brushing my hair and my hair was a little better than before, it was still red but a little more black, like very very very very dark red, looks like back at first glance but is still red. Atleast something got better.
I gor over to my room again, took my phone, and messaged lily.
(Astrid and lily's chat)
Astrid:- hey girl
Lily:- hello
Astrid:- hey can you tell the teachers that I won't be coming for a month?
Lily:- I'm coming to your house now, what's happening?
Astrid:- oh no no, don't, I will tell you, but not now. You'll be the first person I'll tell but after a month I promise, please.
Lily:- I'm not that easy with you always but you seem serious this time. I'll let it go. But one month, after that you'll have to tell me.
Astrid:- yeah, promise, thank you so much
Lily:- but you still owe me for all the trouble you caused yesterday.
Astrid:- ok
3rd person's pov
And so their chat ended. Astrid took a deep breathe in and out and put the phone aside. There was a knock on the window.
"Don't go to the forest"
"Please go to the forest"
"Your fate is sealed, GO! NOW!"
"No! Don't go!"
