Seonghwa

The sky was falling.

San stood behind me, staring at the scene unfolding. Hongjoong's family stayed silent, unsure where they should stand in the war that was about to unfold.

It feels as though all of the anger that Hongjoong carried now coursed through my own veins.

It was supposed to be fleeting. Something beautiful and that was what it was.

But then he was gone and all that was left was a mockery that the gods created for their own pleasure. I wasn't angry just for myself, as much as I was angry for Hongjoong.

"This is the end of the line. Jump ship now if it bothers you."

"We barely know you." Jongho said.

"This is what they deserve." Wooyoung replied. "This is what Hongjoong deserves."

"We'll die." San said, as if he made peace with the idea.

"So will they." I stared at Ares, knowing which side he chose. The gods deserved to die. And then so could I. "This is my first life. I have many more to ensure all of them die with me."

Ares nodded at me as if giving me permission.

I would make sure stories were told of us. Because I would be damned if I died as nothing. Damned if I died as a punching bag to every human and god who couldn't care less.

A/N: cringe, anyway, I love you guys, bye.
