Brushing my hair up into one, I rolled the scrunchie onto my hand before taking my hair into the hand with the scrunchie and wrapped it around my hair. Pulling it as tight as possible, I wrapped it around a few times before wrapping my ponytail in a bun and pin it with a hair pin

Spraying on my perfume I put on my watch, necklace and ring. Taking my handbag off the sofa thing infront the bed, I switched off the lights and walked out the room. Entering the living room, Jay was laying down on the sofa

"Ready?" He asked when he saw me

"Mhm" I replied walking towards the front door. I had work today which is good as it will kind of take my mind off the fact mommy left yesterday

Standing by the car I waited for him to unlock it. Once the car beeped I opened the door, getting in. Putting my bag next to my feet, I put on my seatbelt just as Jay entered. He turned on the car and reversed out the garage. Turning on the AC I positioned the vents on my side towards me

We drove in silence apart from the music that wasn't even playing loud. My phone started ringing in my bag bringing me back to reality. Taking my phone out, Dr Omar flashed across the screen

"Hello Good Morning" I answered

"Good Morning Ms Leeyung it's Dr Omar" he replied

"Oh Hi, how you doing?" I asked

"I'm doing great and I hope you are too" he replied

He always sound so bubbly and happy

"I am and that's wonderful to hear" I replied with a smile

"It is anyways I'm calling to inform you that you don't have to come in today. An error was made which was for you to come in today but actually you're to come in tomorrow, another pediatrician is coming in today. I'm truly sorry about the mixup" he said

"Oh that's okay, thanks for informing me" I said. I was kind of sad because I really did wanna go to work today but oh well

"No problem once again I'm sorry about the mixup but have a good day" he said

"It's fine and thank you, enjoy your day also" I replied

"Okay bye" he replied and ended the call

As soon as the call ended my mood went back to glum. Letting out a sigh I took off my shoes

"There was a mixup so I'm to go in tomorrow and not today for work" I said to Jay

"Alright, b mi nuh like how uh look" he said

"How me look?" I said looking at him

"You nuh look lively b" he said glancing at me

"I just wanna go home" I said
