"Alright so bring this to your nearest pharmacy. They'll know what to do," I said handing the prescription to the mother of the little girl who has some stomach problems

"And this is for you sweetheart," I said with a smile handing the little girl a lollipop which she took happily. Poor ting nuh know seh it's sugar free

"Okay, thank you" the mother said exiting the room and closed the door

Turning around I got to throwing away the used packaging of the equipment I used to check the little girl. Cleaning out the basket I placed the basic stuff I'd need for my next patient I heard the door open, that's weird, I wasn't notified. Turning around confused I was met with my employer, Dr. Omar

"Hi, what may I help with?," I asked with a smile

"Nothing much, I just wanted to tell you that I won't be in for about a week or two. My wife and I are heading back home for family business. A doctor should come in my space for the time I'm out so you don't have to worry about being here alone," he explained

"Oh okay no problem, safe travel," I replied placing the prepped basket on the counter

"Thank You I'll be going now but one more thing when I get back there's something we need to discuss," he said

"Okay I'll be here when you're back," I said

He gave me a smile and left the room closing the door quietly behind him. Cleaning my desk and quest chairs, I went around to the examination room to replace the parchment paper and wipe down the bed

Just as I finished cleaning and washing my hands, the telephone pinged and the receptionist voice followed

"Dr. Lee your next patient is here, the file should be on your desk," she said

Pressing the button I said, " Send them around,"

Fixing my scrubs, I sat in my chair just as the door opened and a father with a son that looked about 10 came in

"Hi Good Morning," I said happily

"Girl mi hungry! How far uh deh?," I said with a frown

I was standing outside under the open garage waiting for Nique to come pick me up. I can't wait to get back my car. I had sent it to town to get service and a makeover. Checking the time, 4:25 pm. Dropping my phone in my bag, I waited patiently for Nique to come

10 minutes later

"No man if uh did come a minute later is a mummy uh would a come see," I said getting into the passenger seat and placing my bag next to my foot on the mat

"Oh Gosh man uh too wicked," she said laughing and drove out the yard

"Weh Zar deh?," I asked putting on my seatbelt

"She round a back deh a sleep," she said pointing behind her. Looking around, I saw that cute little face I'll always love to see sleeping peacefully

"She pretty ee man!," I said with a pout

"Well ofc. A my good ole she come from" Nique said making me laugh

"How deh one song deh go? Uh PUM PUM GIVE LIFE!!," I sang and we both started laughing

"Mi cya tek uh...Tro. Anyway ma go mega mart, zar nyam out the wul a the food out a the house plus wid family over, mi house DRY!!,"
