"WOAH, I AM TOTALLY WALKING ON AN ALIEN PLANET!"

There was absolutely no way Beast Boy was going to sit the mission out and a simple offer from his adopted sister was all it took to convince him.

Faith shared the boy's sentiment as she glanced over the beautiful landscape of Rann. It was unlike the universes she had seen when training with Fate and Nova, and drastically different to the planets she had vacationed on with Hal.

"Wow, sis, you must say that, like, every day on earth!" Gar grinned, bouncing excitedly on his heels as he came to the Martian's side.

M'gann grinned. "Actually, I kind of do-."

Gar's expression fell suddenly, his hands coming to cup around his neck in a panic. "Wait. We can breathe the air here, right?"

Faith snickered, ruffling the boy's hair. "You'd be surprised at how many planets have similar air to earth," she remarked, offering a slight shrug that allowed for Garfield's fears to wash away. His excitement was quick to return, and he was bouncing to the balcony once again.

The group had beamed to a laboratory nestled within the centre of Rann, the place where Adam had accidentally ended up last time. The scientist, Sardath, and his daughter Alanna had quickly intercepted them from the moment they appeared. The pair spoke in their first language, their speech half translated by a struggled Adam Strange who defended himself by saying they usually played charades.

Faith had clapped her hands in excitement. "Oh! I'm an expert at charades! Give me one!" she begged, he hurried words resulting in a confused look from Sardath and Alanna.

M'gann shook her head, pressing to fingers to her temple. "Here, this will be easier."

Alanna and Sardath winced.

"Woah... what was that?" Alanna asked, an expecting look to her father who shared the sentiment, "Such an odd sensation."

"Wait! You're speaking English."

M'gann interrupted Adam's excitement. "No, they're not, but I linked us mentally, and I'm serving as a psychic translator." She gestured to the Rannian father and daughter before to the earthlings. "They speak Rannian, we speak English, but all now hear the language they understand."

"Pretty cool, huh?" Faith grinned, a supportive nudge to the Martian who smiled proudly.

Alanna was moving towards Adam with the explanation concluded, purple eyes looking him up and down. "It will make communicating so much easier," she said, her closeness causing the scientist's white skin to abruptly glow a prominent red.
