Taylor strums the six strings on her guitar.

E minor.. G.. F sharp?

She practices the melody over and over, building it and removing different chords. Once she is completly satisfied with the pattern, she calls up Jack Antonoff, her friend and producer.

"Hey Jack?" Taylor says.

"Taylor, what the hell it's five o'clock." She can tell he was woken up by her call.

"I have a song idea." She says with forced enthusiasm.

"Could this not have waited?" He complains. She smiles at his misery.

"No." She purses her lips. "I punched in some lyrics on my notes app."

"Okay. Meet me at the studio in half and hour." He tells her bluntly.

She hangs up, finds her keys, and hits the road. Knowing she will most likely be early, she stops by her local coffee shop. The barista's there are familiar with her visits, so they don't jump out of there skin upon arrival.

She walks up to the counter. Sammy, the girl who usually works early shifts, comes to take her order.

"Hey Sammy." Taylor smiles.

"Hi Taylor! How are you?" She asks. Even early in the morning, she never fails to have a bubbly, energetic personality.

"So-so. Can I get my usual?" Taylor fishes around her purse for her card.

"Of course. Tap when you're ready." Taylor pays and sits at a table to wait.

She looks around and sees a familiar face. Travis Kelce. "Travis Kelce?" She calls out.

He turns around, and his eyes seem to pop out of his head. "T-Taylor Swift?"

She smiles and chuckles slightly. "Call me Taylor." She gets up to shake his hand. "I saw your game a few days ago. You were amazing. What brings you up here?"

He shakes her hand enthusiastically. "I'm visiting with family."

"That's great. How long will you be here?" She inquires casually.

"Just a few more day's before heading back down to Kansas. What are you doing?" He asks her. She quickly reads his expression, wondering whether to tell the truth or to lie.

"I um, just going to catch up with some friends." She says, giving him half the truth.

He nods. "Well, I best be going now. It was nice meeting you. I hope to see you soon."

She grins. "Oh, you will be. I'm coming to the next game."

"Oh really? Perfect." He says, unsure what response to give.

"Taylor!" Sammy calls out, holding her drink.

"Bye." She waves a couple fingers to Travis and gets her coffee. Taylor and Sammy make eye contact, which makes the two women struggle to suppress a laugh.

"Thank you. See you soon." Taylor leaves the store and drives down to the studio.

God, I can't wait to see him again. She smiles to herself.
