My Jar of Wishes

School

Anna came back from the dojo a year after only to hear that her grandmother is dead. She was left money by her grandparents and she got a house close to the new school she was to attend. It wasn't anything special but it was something decent. She learnt how to fight and defend herself as she was all alone. She did very nicely and was as strong as a bull but just as her uncle said, "Do not use this power on anyone, you don't want happened to that boy to happen to anyone else. " As soon she moved in she unpacked everything and she went to her room to cry. Everyone was gone. Her mother, her father, her grandparents, everyone. No was there to help her and she blamed herself for it. She started school soon after.  On the first day, she sat on her seat. ALONE. A boy called out her name and she was shocked. " Hey! Aren't you the one who killed my brother's friend in middle school?" she was shaken. Rumors spread like wild fire and she became the target  for all the bullies. She would get shoved in her locker, Sit on gum, get hit by spitballs and the worst, get beaten up. Everything was back to how it was in the past. She didn't have any friends and was all alone. Even in all these circumstances, she didn't use her strength to defend herself. She kept recalling how she beat up people and saw what was happening as a punishment for all that had happened.  

One day, after getting beaten up, she was stumbling on the sidewalk with bruises and gum in her hair. She saw a dirty and injured cat in a box and decided to treat it. From that day se would visit the cat on the sidewalk to and from school. Nobody knew about it because she didn't have any friends to see it. She uses her phone to take cute pictures of the cat.  And she even used it as her background. The gigantic hole in her heart closed up a little because of the cat and she was at least a bit happy. When Anna went to school the next day, the leader of the bully gang Jena shouted " Anna Banana!" everyone laughed at her. She wasn't fazed like normal because she was going to see the cat after school and of course  Jena noticed. Jena followed Anna quietly with some of her friends and they saw what Anna has been meeting after school everyday. They laughed and called out her name while calling her "Anna banana!!!". She was just minding her business playing with the kitty until she felt it.  Something at her direction at high speed- no! It was aimed for the cat! She dragged the cat out of danger and the bullet was inches from her eyes. She turned to her right to see Jena with a gun snickering with her friends.  " I'm sorry. I thought it was a robber!" said Jena laughing with her friends. Anna was shaking. She was holding her self back from giving them a nice beating. Jena was about to shoot again as Anna gave her the scariest bombastic side eye. Jena didn't need a warning. She ran like Pennywise was on her tail. Her friends followed after her until Anna was out of sight. Anna bought some glasses to keep her eyes safe. Anna decided to take in the cat and named her Sugar. She was very happy with Sugar and she treated Sugar like a human girl. She stayed awake for the first time watching movies with Sugar and eating popcorn. She was truly happy.
