Naveah was currently at home making dinner for her family, it was kind of difficult with her belly being in the way and all.
"I just know you not in here cooking by yourself," Tremani asked as he stepped in the kitchen
"Some company would be nice," Naveah said smiling
Tremani washed his hands and grabbed the potato peeler from his wife and finished the rest of the potatoes.
"Let me find out you can cook," Naveah said
"You know I can don't act brand new," he said smiling up at her and then focusing back on the potatoes.
Naveah stared up at her husband lovingly. She was grateful for him and couldn't thank God enough for him. They decided to elope and decided on a wedding when things calmed back down and their house was done being built.
They were going to need a big one with this big and growing family they had. They didn't mind the older siblings staying for as long as they wanted. They knew how hard it was out in the world and didn't want to just throw them out there without having something they could lean on.
"Dear sisterrrrr," Elijah said skipping into the kitchen
"What is it," Naveah asked rolling her eyes
"Oooo attitude but anyway can can I have some money," he asked
"For what," Naveah asked taking her attention off of tremani
"To go to the mall with some of the football players," he asked putting on his best pouting face
"Your faces don't work on my anymore I'm immune," she said tho king about where she put her wallet
"Is that a yes or," he asked
"Come here Eli," Naveah said pulling out her wallet
Elijah went up to his sister
"Here, you have a $500 limit," she said pulling out her debit card and handing it to him
"Thank you sissy I love you," he said kissing her forehead, he was taller than her.
Heck she was sure all over siblings were going to be taller than her
"Is it okay if Amir goes, he asked but I wanted to make sure it was okay with you," Elijah said
"Of course it's okay but you know the rules, be home by 5pm. Do not let him out of your sight no matter what," she said sternly
"I know veve," Elijah said rolling his eyes
"Why are all of yall so sassy," Naveah asked rolling her eyes too
Tremani laughed at the pair
"They get it from you," he said staring at her bewildered
Naveah side eyed him
"Come on Amir," Elijah yelled up the stairs and Amir came running down
