"Hey beautiful"
"Shut up" I said
"Geez just wanted you to show me where my class was"
"Oh right" I said
At that moment I looked up and suddenly got so embarrassed
"It's okay" he winked at me
"Luke"
"London"
"Oh you mean like London the capital city of England" Alec said
"Sure" I responded rolling my eyes, he laughed
"Oh. where's the biology lab?"
"It's right down at the end of the hall"
"K. thanks"
Once he left Caroline came up to me and told me one of the bad boys and one of the most popular boys in school had just came up to me and thought I was cute!?!?!WHAT?!?!?
At lunch is saw him start to walk over to my table.
"Hey babe" he said
"Stop flirting with me" I said, smiling and laughing
"Why"
"Cause I hate you" I said biting my lip
"You know, you don't have to hide anymore. I like you. So stop pushing me away."
"Fine. but don't forget, I still hate you"
"Why"
"Cause your popular and your talking to me, there's obviously something going on"
"Nothing is going on"
"K"
The bell started to ring.
"Bye beautiful"
"Stop" I said making a shy smile
He's perfect. But I don't trust him. Why would he want to talk to me. I can't risk getting hurt again.
He passed me again at the end of the day and said
"Pick you up at 8"
"Fine" I said nervously

I ran home and instantly started getting ready for tonight even though I had 5 hours. I threw on my new pair of black jeans, a Pink Floyd, and my grey beanie. I flipped my hair part to the side and put a side braid in my long black hair. I put on my pale af foundation, bronzer, eyeliner, and nude lipstick. I tried to be somewhat mainstream, honestly I just ending up looking like the classic, grunge, Tumblr girl with dino braids. But i'm fine with that.

Next thing I knew he was knocking on my door at 8:30.
"Sorry I'm late, my mom wouldn't let me out of the house" He said
"It's fine" I was used to people being late
"You ready to go"
"Yeah"
"Oh wait, kids, I want a picture" my mom squealed
"Mom" I said embarrassed
"Oh ok you guys have fun"
"Thanks" I said under my breath
"Cute" she said
"We're leaving" I made that very clear as I said it.
"Oh wait" he said "I had to get this for you"
He started to pull out at little square box with what looked like a bracelet inside. He pulled out a rose gold bracelet with a heart attached.
"I wasn't sure if"
"I love it" I said smiling and cutting him off.
"Alright let's go"
"K"
I suddenly stopped right when I noticed he had his own car.
"U ok"
"Yeah" I replied almost speechless
I walked towards the car slowly still not sure what to say. He unexpectedly opened the door for me right I could get to the handle.
"Thank you"
This was the best I've been treated in probably 5 years. I started to breathe in very slowly to see if this was real. I started to exhale. My whole body shaking. And my heart almost exploding. I've never felt any of these feeling in my life before. And if it definitely did feel like this. The car finally stopped and I noticed we got to the restaurant and neither of us had said one word.
We started walking into the restaurant. He opened the door.
"Ladies first" he said with the slightest smile
I smiled back
"Hello do you have a reservation."
"um...Yes it should be under Fuentes"
"Yes of course your right here, follow me Mr. and Mrs. Hemmings"
We started following her and we looked at each other. one we sat down I leaned towards Alec so no once would hear what I was about to say.
"She thinks we're married" I said almost laughing
"Yeah, it's funny just go along with it."
"So how was you're day" he said awkwardly trying to get the conversation going.
I made a groaning sound as I was smiling
"Okay well I can make it better" he said with a huge smile stretched across his face
"What"
"I don't know"
The waitress brought us Both waters and asked if we were ready to order.
"I'll have a Texas burger and for the lady..."
"You know, actually, I'm not hungry"
"Please I brought you out to eat"
"Okay, I'll have the the house salad"
"Alright anything else" the waitress asked
"No I think we're good, thank you"
The waitress took our menus
"I took you to the best restaurant in town and you chose to get a salad. Wow. I cannot believe you" he shouted as he was cracking up.
"Shh"
"Okay really I can scream"
"You know your the only person that's actually okay with being seen in public with me"
"Really"
"Yeah"
"Ok so then to prove to you I'm not faking" he said "London Campbell is my girlfriend" Alec screamed.
Okay, well, it wasn't the fact that he had just screamed that to everyone in the restaurant. But, it was the fact that he had just called me his girlfriend. My heart was beating almost 100 times faster then I should be, I knew how it felt to have a heart attack. The biggest smile grew onto my face, without even thinking about it.
"Stop" I laughed
"I don't want to."
The waitress walked by with both of our meals
"Here you go" she handed us both of our meals
"Thank you" Luke and I both said in perfect sync. I started to eat and he started to complain about how my plain food was.
"Okay, I get it now, you can stop"
"K" he responded
Somehow he was already done with his burger and I wasn't even half done with my salad.
"Is everything alright?" The waitress asked as she walked by.
"Yeah I'm done, it was great" Luke said
"I'm done too, thank you"
"Alright I'll get you the bill"
The waitress left and we just sat there staring at each other. The waitress finally walked by and broke our awkward staring contest.
"Okay" he gave he back the bill and she left.
Of course our awkward staring contest had to keep on going.
"Here you go" for some reason I feel like that waitress walks by at just the right moments.
We started to walk out and I noticed Luke was holding my hand. We were walking so close now. One of his friends walked into the restaurant and he surprisingly didn't let go of my hand. We just left without even glancing at his friend. We both decided to walk around for a little bit before we left.
"What did you think about tonight" Luke said looking straight into my eyes almost making me melt.
"I loved it"
We both sat down on a bench and not even thinking about I leaned my head down in his shoulder. I didn't feel like I expected. I could feel his cold skin pressed against my cheek.
"I Love You" I whispered without giving myself a second chance to think about it.
"Forever" He whispered back to me.
"You can't make promises like that"
"But I can, we've only gone on one date and I love you too much to let go." He said with his soft dreamy voice as his nose was touching mine.
"It's getting late we should go." he said smiling.
"Ok"
"Wait, one more thing."
Luke started slowly leaning forwards and put his cold hand against my cheek. I felt his lips slowly place on mine. In what felt like a second, he sitting right beside me as he was before. I started to wish that I could have that one second back over and over again. Over a million thoughts rushed into my head. It was a dream. Not real. At least it couldn't be. but it was.
We both smiled at each other
"London can I tell you something?" He asked "I can promise that I'll love you forever because even if we're not together. I won't be able to stop thinking about you. And if I broke up with you, I will forever regret what I have done. I love you to much to let you go anytime soon."
"And I'm not ready either" I replied

"Just so you know this still isn't a date." I said flipping my hair back

"We'll see how long these 'non dates' last"

Alec was inching forward again. His cold hands holding mine, he kissed me and left leaving just the cold air and warm silence behind.
