Sejal :

We went to a restaurant for lunch and ordered some appetizers. We ate and talked about random things. After lunch, we got back in the car and he drove me home, even though I said I could go alone. He said it wouldn't take much of his time, since he had a meeting to go to at the office.

As we sat in the car, he drove while I reminisced about our day's adventures. I was lost in thought, replaying the memories of our lunch together and the great time we had. It was a wonderful day, and I felt grateful for the experience we shared. The car ride was a perfect opportunity to reflect on the day's events, and I was happy to have had such a lovely time with him.

We arrived, and he dropped me off at the gate with a smile and a few friendly words.

"Goodbye, I have a meeting to go to. Take care!"

So even I smiled back in response and waved him a bye. But before I could go, he called out my name and I asked him through raising my eyebrows.

So he gestured towards the bags, and I realized I had forgotten all our belongings. But before I could retrieve them from the back seat, he quickly got out of the car and collected all the items for me.

While I was watching him, I thought to myself, Just a moment ago, he was in a hurry to get to his meeting, and now he's taking the time to grab all our belongings because I was about to carry them. So I spoke up, surprised by his sudden change in behavior.

"It wasn't needed, I could carry them. You already have a meeting to attend."

But he just smiled at me and told me with a mischievous grin.

"How am I supposed to let my wife carry bags, when I'm already present for her."

I was thoroughly caught off guard by his words! What's behind his sudden candor today? It's really tugging at my heartstrings.

So I started walking ahead, unsure of how to respond, while he followed behind me, chuckling to himself. I couldn't help but smile, but I tried to maintain a poker face, quickening my pace to hide my amusement.

But as I was hurrying towards the main door of the house, I collided with Tara and Natasha, who were standing in the way. The sudden impact snapped me back to reality, halting my hasty retreat.

And I instantly apologized, "Sorry!"

While Natasha gritted her teeth and spoke

" Atleast watch and walk."

But Adhyaan intervened, his voice calm and diplomatic,

"She already said sorry about that, you don't need to be rude, Natasha."

But before Natasha could respond, Tara jumped in and said.

"What are these shopping bags? Are they for me?"

Tara asked

Here's a rephrased version of the dialogue from the girl's point of view:

He smiled and said,

"No, Tara, these are actually for Sejal. She's been stuck at home for days, so I thought, why not surprise her and hang out? And if you want to go shopping, we can definitely go tomorrow."

But Tara's face fell, and she suddenly looked pale.

"No need, I'm fine"

she muttered, her voice barely audible, before quickly turning around and walking away with Natasha.

As I watched Tara walk away with Natasha, I couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that settled in my chest. I could sense the disappointment and hurt that Tara was trying to hide. She had been expecting a surprise, hoping that he would have thought of her too, but instead, all the shopping bags were for me.
