June is seventh month if you don't know

"Better hide good, before I come looking" Dale teasingly warned, Daen could never find a good hiding spot before Dale was done counting. Dale started to position himself against the wall of his bedroom.

"Fuck off," Daen responded, starting to search for a place to hide. He dashed around the house, aware that time was ticking, his heart pounding in his chest. Suddenly, he recalled the attic and thought it might be the perfect hiding place. Hurriedly, he lunged and yanked the attic cord, releasing the ladder. Racing up the stairs, he quietly shut the attic door as he waited for Dale to discover him.

"Ready or not, here I come!" Dale exclaimed, eagerly exploring each room, playfully declaring, "I've found you!" Yet, each time he searched, no one was to be found.

Daen chuckled at his brother, hearing him say "Found you" so many times, as Daen started laughing more he walked into a box that tipped over. He stopped and went completely still as he saw the photos scattered all over the ground.

"I know you're in the attic, you non-quiet fool," Dale said, rushing towards the rope. Daen ran behind some boxes his mother had up there, leaving him to hide behind.

Daen heard the attic door opening, he watched as his brother climbed the stairs up. "I know you're up here," Dale teased, trying to get his brother to quit. Dale slowly got closer to Daen, looking over the boxes and then he saw his brother smiling and chuckling not noticing him.

"Gotcha!" Dale exclaimed, pushing a box onto Daen's head. "Dale!" Daen yelped in surprise as the box landed on him.

Daen hopped up, and squealed "Ew, ew, cobwebs."

"What are you doing up here anyways?" Dale said, turning around and laughing at him.

"What, you didn't say I couldn't hide up here," Daen remarked, wiping his outfit off.

"I didn't think I had to," Dale replied, turning back towards Daen.

"Yeah, well, you do," Daen retorted.

"Why were you being loud?" Dale questioned.

"I wasn't. I dropped mom's photos," Daen admitted sheepishly. As they both looked down at the scattered pictures.

Noah, Dale's best friend, came to say goodbye before the boys went to their mom's for the week. As he walked inside, he saw the attic stairs down and decided to see what they were up to, knowing it was too quiet.

Climbing up the stairs, he found the boys looking at some photos. "What y'all doing?"

Startled, the boys looked at Noah. "God, you scared us," Dale said. "Hmm, doing something you shouldn't? I'm in!" Noah exclaimed, joining them eagerly.

Dale, with a sarcastic smile on his face, "We're not doing anything, idiot. We're just looking at pictures of our moms together." He picked up a picture from the floor.

Daen, leaned over Dales shoulder and remarked, "I miss us together," looking at the same picture Dale was holding.

Noah, picked up, another photo, commenting, "Whoa, your moms are hot."

Dale, frustrated by Noah's insensitive remark, replied, "Shut up, damn it! You just gotta ruin something," and proceeded to gather all the photos and put them back in the box.

"Dale, Daen! Come here," Their mother called from downstairs.

Dale, feeling a sense of urgency, quickly gathered the remaining photos before joining his brother and best friend on their way down from the attic. Clutching the box in his hand, wanting to ask his mother about it. They approached their mother.
