it was 1 P.M. The sky was bright and vibrant, a flock of birds were flying through the clouds. Yui and Ezra were hanging out at a park, sitting next to eachother on a bench. Listening to the sound of children giggling from a distance. Yui's head was resting on Ezra's shoulder with both of their eyes closed, feeling relaxed. They stayed like that for a while until Yui had to go. Yui had a slight feeling of disappointment when he had to leave. As he was walking his way home, Ezra stayed there for a while. Feeling relaxed from the wind flowing. He eventually made his way back to his apartment, greeted by his lovely friend, Neith. Who was on the couch watching TV, she immediately turned around when she heard the sound of the door getting unlocked.
"Hey, Ezra! You're back." She stood up from the couch, leaving the show playing that she was watching on TV as she walked over to Ezra. "Hey, Neith." Ezra smiled as he left his coat hanging on the coat rack.
"So, anything exciting happened while you were out?" Neith asked as she took a step closer to Ezra.
"Well, um. When Yui and I were sitting next to eachother on the bench, I feel like he was kind of... Like, showing signs that he likes me. I mean, he kept leaning closer and resting his head on my shoulder. Which I didn't really mind." Ezra explained, Neith was nodding along his words as he spoke, listening closely.
"Ohh, looks like someone has a crush on you." Neith teased, crossing her arms over her chest with a smirk, raising an eyebrow.
"Hah, I hope not. Because I don't really feel the same way and it would be really embarrassing if he confessed to me. But, anyway. What you up to?"
"Oh, just watching my favorite childhood show. It's still my favorite, honestly. You should join me." Neith suggested, dropping her arms from her chest.
"Alright, that does sounds fun." Ezra quickly grabbed a snack from the pantry before sitting on the couch with Neith, watching the show together on the television with his arm resting on the back of the couch. Neith makes comments and jokes about the show as it plays, trying to keep Ezra entertained and to avoid making the situation awkward.
When they finish the show, they start a conversation about random things. Suddenly, Neith brings up another topic. "Oh, I don't know how I've never told you this before. But, I actually have a twin brother." Ezra's eyes widen in shock and excitement. "Twin brother!?" He exclaimed.
Neith let out a soft giggle at the excitement in his voice. "Yeah. He actually doesn't have anything better to do other than slouching on the couch while scrolling through his phone, I don't know how he hasn't got a spine injury." Ezra laughs softly as he's starting to get interested in her brother.
"Actually, you should meet him. He doesn't have any friends except Fallon." Neith suggested.
Ezra raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Really? His only friend is Fallon?" Ezra was confused, how can someone possibly only have one friend (oh).
"Yeah, he doesn't really talk to people. It may be hard to get used to him. But, I want you to meet him." Ezra didn't have to hesitate to agree to her idea of meeting her brother. She never told him about it which made him a bit curious.
Neith and Ezra continue their conversation on the couch until they started getting tired. They went to the bathroom to brush their teeth at the same time before going to bed. Ezra was having a hard time falling asleep from excitement, he was ready to meet Neith's brother and get a new friend, he eventually drifted off to sleep.
In the next morning. Neith woke up, yawning and stretching her body before standing up to start the day. She grabs her hairbrush from her desk and fixes her messy hair as she looks at herself in the mirror. She places down the hairbrush back on the desk. Checking herself out in the mirror for a few more minutes. After that, she gets out of her room rubbing her eyes. Noticing that Ezra was already up making breakfast in the kitchen.
