Ezra opened his eyes, his eyelids feeling heavy, feeling comfortable under the blankets. The first rays of sunlight lit up the room from the windows. Ezra slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes before stretching like a cat. He stayed there for a moment before making another movement.
Suddenly, he remembered that he moved down to sleep next to Sullivan last night. He swiftly turned his head to look at him, when he realizes he was still asleep. He slowly and gently got out of his bed and sat on his own bed, trying not to wake him up.
He knew if Sullivan caught him sleeping next to him, Sullivan would probably be upset and feel uncomfortable. He just sat there on his bed, he turned around to look through the window. Admiring the beautiful sight of the sun. He scoots closer to the window, looking down to see the view on the city streets, many vehicles and people passing by.
He stayed there for a moment, admiring the view before finally moving away to grab his glasses on his desk beside the bed. He puts it on and got out of bed, straightening the sheets and fixing the pillows. Ezra is ready to start the day. He quietly got out of his room, walking slowly towards the door. He steals a glance from Sullivan, smiling warmly from the sight of his slumber before walking out the door and quietly closing it.
As he walks towards the kitchen, he looks around the living room as he passes by, noticing Neith wasn't there. So, it means this time he was the first to wake up.
A few minutes later. Ezra walks over to his bedroom, he gently opens the door to check up on Sullivan. He sees that he is finally awake and slowly entered the room, leaving the door behind him open. He kneels down beside Sullivan.
"Good morning, I made breakfast." Ezra said happily. Sullivan gets up from his bed, stretching as he walks out the door, leaving Ezra with no response again. Ezra knew he had to get used to it if he's spending time with Sullivan, so it didn't bother him that much.
As Sullivan walks over to the table, Ezra went over to Neith's bedroom. He knocks on the door before entering. The first thing he saw was Neith checking herself out on the mirror, she turned around to face Ezra when she heard the door creak open. "Oh, hey!" Neith waved her hand swiftly.
"Good morning. Just letting you know breakfast is ready." Ezra said before leaving her room, leaving her door open. She followed Ezra along the way to the table, Sullivan was already in his seat, looking down on his phone waiting for Ezra and his sister. They both sit down on their seats, everyone is seated. As always, Neith starts another conversation. She is portrayed garrulous. But, her friends love her for that.
Neith finished eating before the two and placed down her plate and glass on the sink before walking over to the bathroom, leaving both Sullivan and Ezra alone together on the table. Ezra tries to think of something to say to avoid the situation from getting awkward.
"Sullivan, would you like to go to the Café with me after breakfast?" He asks, a smile playing on his lips as he waits for his response. Sullivan looks up from his phone from hearing the voice of Ezra. "Uh, sure." Sullivan replied, his voice husky. He looks back down at his phone as he takes the last bite out of his food. "Alright then, at 9 A.M. Sound good?"
"Great." Sullivan responded as he took his plate and his glass cup in his hand and placing it down on the sink. Turning around and taking Ezra's plate and cup also to put it down on the sink to wash the dishes.
"Oh, no. I can do that." Ezra stood up from his chair, walking over to the sink beside Sullivan. "I'll do it this time." Sullivan replied without even looking at Ezra's face, he focuses on washing the dishes. "Alright then." Ezra said before walking over to the couch, he sat down on the center of the couch then reaching out for the remote to control the TV.
