So yeah! I'm finally working on a fan season for Aly.
It's going to take place between seasons 9 and 10 (I know it's in the middle of the Oni Trilogy, but it's the only place that Aly's character could get serious development). And because of it being during Oni Trilogy, some part of it are going to be rewritten, and what I mean by that is I'm going to be remastering the Oni Trilogy in The Split Element, and I'm considering doing the whole of book 1.
It's a lot, I'm fully aware of that.
The Oni Trilogy is the only part/arc that needs major changing; in the remastered, the Ninja are a lot meaner to Aly, especially Kai, Aly's true potential doesn't happen in season 9, there's a new character in Aly's SoG era, and how she responds to the Ninja taking her in is different. Some chapters will be very different, there will be a couple of new ones and some just wont feature anymore.
I would just update/change the chapters in book 1, but because of the new chapters and deletion of old ones, I thought I might as just well do it in a new book, an updated one. Aaaand because of that, I was considering updating/tweaking the rest of book one for the remastered version so you don't have to go back and forth between two books to read the whole story.
Anyway, this is going to take a while; I've already got notes for 7/8 of the chapters for Icebound, and have ideas floating around for the new Oni Trilogy and changes to the rest of book 1.
When I have more information to share I will, but until then feel free to ask me any questions about the fan season or anything else. I know I haven't shared much, but anything at all I'll answer <3
